to the OP...I hope you have account shield on your best buy card. If you do then you can just call HSBC (look for the number on the card) and tell them that you lost the phone. If i remember correctly...if you have account shield it covers you for stolen items..but all it does is defer those payments. Hope this helps... (i used to work for Best Buy)

I convinced my mother...

to come to AT&T allow me to port her number to an iphone and then buy a sperate one for her and give the iphone to my wife, not the best solution but a solution never the less
