I must say I am surprised at 9:15 am (1 hour and 15 Minutes into Pre Order) all colors of the pro Max are still available for launch day delivery. Demand for the Pro Max must not be high this year?

Takes all the fun out of me snagging mine right at 8:01am lol.

Might just have their supply chain issue sorted out, might just be a product of the fact that it's more of a niche device than the "standard" phones. Mini is still showing 11/13 delivery as well.

It start at $1,100 USD and is launching 3 weeks after the two most popular models. Only the people who are upgrading this year, that want a Max size model, and didn't jump the gun and just order a Pro instead, are ordering today.

Launching it later like this filtered out a lot of prospective early buyers.

Too much unacceptable misinformation which I do not believe was by accident. Almost as if this is now acceptable from the media.
Here it is 10 am EST and if we are to believe the shortages articles of past few days we would think this Max would have sold out real quick.... Geezus what a crock of xxxx

All the articles saying the supplies were short were just to boost demand. It happens every year. I got the 12 pro, and demand was pretty high. Most people don’t want a tablet in their pockets, so the 12, and 12 pro will always be more popular. This has always been the case, and this year is no different. I think the demand might even be less with the phone getting even bigger. Apple really needs to reign in the Max. It’s kind of ridiculous the size of it. It’s becoming more of niche product.

With that said, I just checked the Mini on the Apple site, and all 5 colors are also still available for launch day delivery as of 10:47am EST. So this is really odd as well.

128GB and 256GB Pacific Blue have a 7-10 day delivery estimate.

It all comes down to regional demand. The Max has never been a super seller in the U.S.

This makes a lot of sense and is probably a big reason why.

Near me, in store availablity of the most popular colors is dwindling. And shipping times are slipping. I see a few 512gb available but they’re definitely slipping.
