I was thinking the same thing this morning. Voice text is fantastic.
Easier to do on the watch than on my iPhone . Not had it even 24 hours yet and when I'm not in a public place ( so I don't look an idiot) I'm doing almost all my texting from the watch. It's so much easier, watch taps you because somebody text you, raise arm to read, tap reply, then tap the mic, and say your response, send. All done. Most convenient when I'm doing something like eating .
Really did not expect texting would be my main use.
haven't taken out my phone since i got my watch with the exception of using it to tweak watch settings and check my morning iPhone games. Amazing.
I also found that it was more accurate than voice to text on my phone. I added more canned responses too, which makes it even quicker!
Agreed! I'm really enjoying the "freedom." I can't remember an extended period of time where my phone was outside a 1 foot radius of my person and I wasn't worried about it, until yesterday that is. Someday this Watch is going to be able to complete replace the phone without relying on it, and that will be an amazing day.
Now that we have this gizmo, I'm ready for Apple to fix TV and bring 3D printing to the masses!!![]()
doesn't work well with German at all. every town has its own accent and words. I would spent half the time editing the text
I agree with almost all you said, but I want optimization and bug fixes across the board before they push out anything else, and I have been waiting for an ACTUAL TV from apple to put in most rooms of the house for some time now. Though, I can wait for things like the apple remote not crashing when trying to change movies or whatever.
