Why would you send it back without even opening up the box? They do give you a satisfaction guarantee for 45 days you know. I am expecting mine tomorrow, and figure even if the film looks like it might be all messed up, I am going to apply it and try it out to see what occurs.

I guess you're right, I just figured it would be less of a hassle to get a refund on an un-opened box.

I'm so disappointed with these pics! My wrapsol is due to arrive on Friday, I guess I won't even bother opening it. It's going back. It looks awful. :( Should've gone with my gut and bought SGP instead of listening to people here.

First batch of SGP skins had issues as well. Apparently they didn't cut out a hole for the front facing camera.

Alright, everyone...

Stop spazzing out!!!!:D I got the wrapsol equally smudged looking but there were no smudges when I applied it and let it set. Now, I am still waiting for the bubbles to go away. I'll post pics of the bubbles right after and 12 hours later, the bubbles are much less in number. But there are still some amount of "marks" from the bubbles left. I've been fiddling with it for some time trying to push the bubbles out and it's working out. If I were to do it all over again, I would have sprayed some water mixed with a touch of dish washing soap on it.

That being said, I know that there are some people who got bad scratches and if they don't go away, I'm sure they will take care of you. Personally, I like the feel of the actual material much more than the Zagg. My girlfriend has it on her 3GS and the orange peel is a no-no for me.

PS: there is another giant thread on this.

Received yesterday with the same issues and installed about 18 hours ago. Some of the side pieces seemed like they needed to be stretched slightly to fit (thinking of the right side piece specifically) and in general it doesn't feel like the side pieces were cut to exact proportions. Yes the small bubbles go away with time -- this seems to be standard with all these films. I can still see the faint imprint of the instruction booklet/cardboard on my screen which will fade I hope. Somewhat more troubling is places around the edge of the front and back that have a crackled appearance. Not sure why the product claims to be fingerprint resistant since my fingerprints seem more pronounced than before I applied the screen. Generally not too pleased with the appearance but I'll give it a day or two!

Wow, I am a huge Wrapsol fan... and this really disappoints me. The ones I received in the past never looked like this. I can't believe they are sending that out.

Hmm, mine is set to arrive this Friday and based on the posts here, I'll try to apply it first, then let it set for 24hrs and see the results after that before considering other options.

I installed mine today. Cleaned it thoroughly per instructions. And then applied it with the solution. Right now it looks horrible. I will give it a day or two as suggested. I can see lines on the front from using their rubber squeegee and tiny marks/bubbles underneath. I'm hoping these go away.

This was the regular and not the Ultra.

I tried to cancel my Ultra order to get the normal one, because of all issues I read in other threads, but in the process of them waiting for a response to my cancel (I didn't have access to a computer yesterday and they wanted to confirm that I actually wanted to cancel), they shipped the ultra to me overnight(and I got no email about it shipping, and I only live an hour away). And obviously mine was all messed up and fused together.

I am pretty disappointed because My bumper seems to fit less now because I think the Ultra is too thick (which is why I wanted to the normal one). I wish I had responded to their email sooner, because I feel like I wasted good money on the Ultra and to be honest, I don't think its as good as BSE which I have been using on my 3gs.

Oh Well.

Just wanted to chime in here. I got my wrapsol ultra the first time and the films were stuck together and very funky looking, I installed them anyway but the screen one was a mess.

I contacted Wrapsol and they promptly sent out another set, they were much better this time however the side pieces were stuck to the front screen shield, I was able to get them off but theres still some small marks on it...not a big deal I guess but kind of annoying because the screen isn't "perfect" looking.

So thats just for the ultras?

i ordered 2 originals on friday and they just shipped today, and im hoping they're no scratches.

I didnt like the ultra cuz i wanted to put a case over it also, Incase specifically, once they come out.

Have to agree with the sentiment in this thread. Received my Wrapsol Ultra today, placed it on my iPhone, and could see multiple scratches and actual words in the screen protector. Also the side protectors looked like they were cut by a 5-year old. The worst quality control I have seen in a product in a long time. I immediately removed it and placed a Power Support 3GS screen protector on......the fit is close enough (until they release the new ones), and at least they don't have damn words embedded in the film.

Not planning to call them for an exchange, it's not worth it to me. However I will never buy anything from them again, and will do my best to make sure anyone I know who's is looking for a screen protector avoids Wrapsol like the plague.

You should give them a call. They will overnight you a replacement. You can still keep your defect films. No hassle except waiting for a day.

+1
The phone call was quick and easy.

Mine wasn't in great shape, but I wouldn't say that I would steer people away from Wrapsol. Based on past reviews of their products, it would seem that this is a single quality mess up that they are doing their best to make right. Assuming that the replacement skins are better, I would gladly recommend them based on their great customer service alone.

This has me baffled. You pay $30 for something and just throw it away? I will give you my PayPal if you want to throw more money away.

It's just plain stupid not to call them. Their support is one of the best I've dealt with and just send a new one, no questions asked. I'm actually quite impressed how they are handling this.

I would definitely contact them. If you don't want a replacement, they will refund you the cost. At least get your money back. :)

I sent an e-mail this afternoon; should I expect a response (haven't received one yet), or can I assume my replacement has shipped?

Same, I emailed them earlier today no response. So I called them up and got a replacement immediately overnight shipping.

What happens if you get a replacement in the same condition? They might say, well, we sent you a new one. What more do you want?! Don't take advantage!

Yeah I specifically told them what happen to everyone in this forum. They said the new batch is free from those defects and if somehow you get the same one again, give them a call back.

Thanks for your judgment, but as I said, it's not worth it FOR ME to waste my time removing my current film and replacing it again with one that was a piece of junk the first time. Great service aside, second chances are good for companies that make unique, revolutionary products, not for ones that make a product that is also made by about 10 other companies.

Don't worry, I find it equally baffling that the way I spend $30 is so interesting. I posted what I did because I thought people considering Wrapsol should know how much they suck.

My Wrapsol arrived today. Unfortunately, the side pieces slid around on their backing and are completely stuck to front of the piece for the screen - I can't separate them without stretching/damaging that front piece.

Think I'm just going to request a refund and go with another brand. I'm happy that the company is trying to rectify this but it's still disappointing to see such poor quality control on my first purchase with them.

i had the very same problem.. the glue is actually sort of disappearing but the letters from the package and the big scuff on the front film still there..

whoever packed these things is a complete idiot..

i'm gonna give them another try and if not work i want a refund.. after setting it does seem like a very good quality product.. i strongly believe that the glue and letters will go away but that freaking big scuff is unacceptable to me..

i wish all better luck with their replacements
