I was just putting my thoughts out there, in case I don't see daytime.

I know. ;)

Anyway, if we want to go the Lynch-a-SD-Voter's route it should be probably me. Contrary to runner up Pluto I haven't got the survival vote defense/excuse as I voted for SD long before I received even the first myself. I don't think Moyank or woodNUFC that suspicious since I know that I'm innocent, SD is and Pluto eventually too - why should a WW stick his or her head out that much if all the involved lynchees are heroes anyway?

But I should add that lynching me would just waste another day and wouldn't generate much info - except clearing me but that would be of little use as well.

Funny is a matter of perspective. From over here it wouldn't seem too funny.

You believe you know my role but then again you know what happens when you assume, right?

Well, one of my ambitions in life is to die laughing……….so yes, maybe while it is a matter of perspective, it also has its funny moments.

I'm assuming nothing, by the way, about your role; it does seem that I may have been wrong twice now…….(maybe not the Thug, maybe not the Die-Hard, must trot back and re-read all of the roles and accompanying assigned powers…)

No, I just can't understand your posts. Maybe stop playing that Banjo of yours all the damn time so I can hear you more clearly? And, no, I don't think I know your role at all - other than being a good hero that is. But you suggested we would so I got curious.

Well said. I don't understand his posts either, veering as they do between triumph and self-pity.

Personally, I believe twietee, scepticalscribe and plutonius plotted against me. They are not to trusted. My banjo was tampered with by some powerful magic but if I have to reach into my bag, someone will paying thr piper. I'm not to be fiddled with.

I believe that you may be a little too paranoid, my banjo playing friend, (ever try to play Bach's Toccata on a banjo?); but, hey, there was an attempt to lynch you, so maybe you are right to be paranoid.

However, I will add that it is not all about you, little though I know you yet; for now, there are others whose contribution I would consider a lot more……….worthy of trying to save…….going on past performances and contributions….

My vote was to protect Plutonius. Therefore, you were, as they say in certain military worlds, merely collateral damage…….unfortunate, but that is life. Nevertheless, in a spirit brimful of boundless and sunny optimism, I'd be grateful for my unexpected resurrection, rather than spending my valuable time nursing grievances, real or imagined.

lol, i was trying to get you going, didn't work.

He probably saw that coming.

But he may have annoyed a player or two because of his distinguished posting style. And if such a player would be a baddie...I can't even think about it. But it would most definitely involve a lot of sneezing.

you're a threat?

How do I know what someone thinks about me? Anyone can be killed during the night....except TechGod. :)

Going back to the discussion on MacbookProi5, I think he always saw Aggie as a threat. (All that happened just before I started, but I followed those games. Wasn't he the one that would have those long conversations after he was killed?)

Maybe the return of Aggie has sparked some weird anti-aggie feeling in our newest kiwi colleague? Maybe he looks to avenge his countryman! The plot thickens in Somewhereville!!

...or not, but it would make for a good twist.

Paranoid? Who me… harmonica in hand he looks around.

It's nice to know that attempting to cast me upon the rocks, like a sailor trapped in the siren's song wasn't personal but was just protecting another… Which now makes me wonder, WHY you were protecting him. Sure, you gave an expiation but it may not be all there is to it.

When he is on the Side of Good, he is excellent, and well worth protecting for the valuable role (not necessarily an assigned role) he plays in support of the Side of Good, be it conjecture, argument, analysis and ideas; ditto DP, and Moyank, and some others. These are individuals I don't wish to see offed so early, especially in what seemed like a motiveless - if subtly directed - band-wagon.

Of course, if (any of) their loyalties lie elsewhere, well then, we have a formidable set of opponents…..

well, dawn is upon us, my friends.

we'll soon know what the night brought about.

Southern Dad, you got a chance now to prove what you can contribute :)
and for Chrmjenkins' sake, at least have that banjo of yours tuned!
you are killing me here!

EDIT: as far as day 1 voting analysis, if pluto or twietee turn out to be baddies, there could be some infos in the data, if not, then there isn't much of help, except possibly some initial nudging to get one or two viable candidates going.

I saw far too many Leone flics to trust someone calling himself Southerndad while playing the harmonica just one bit.

Especially when he's some kind of zombi.

The issue with MBPi5 was his constant posting in these games. For example, on this page here, he'd be half the posts. He also double and triple posted ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME. If that wasn't annoying enough, he was always saying how he needed to be studying and get ready for these exams he had. He even said once he couldn't play because of it, and then he played anyway. And like you said, once he got killed, he would continue to post just as much. I tried to ignore that he was an immature teenager, but all that was pretty annoying. Luckily, he started making enough insults and violating the forum rules that he got banned.

At any rate, I'm just playing with TechGod. I can't imagine him being MBPi5's relative, since he can actually spell and write a coherent sentence.:)

As did I.

And while harmonica players will elicit some degree of interest and narrow-eyed if distant sympathy from me, I will keep a close eye on the banjo players……

……Indeed, I remember the movie 'Sabata'; my sympathies were entirely with 'Sabata' - played brilliantly by Lee van Cleef, and not at all with his double-crossing, treacherous partner, who went by the name of, wait for it, 'Banjo'…..to SD, then, apart from banjo and harmonica, you don't perchance, play a lute?……

I doubt very much that TechGod is MBPi5 reincarnated……..

The latter, as you say, was an over-eager, wildly immature youngster who was desperate to be accepted and liked. His manner of play was somewhat annoying, not to mention downright distracting. If he had a role, he would post seeking advice - publicly - on how - and when - to use it……

He also wouldn't read the rules though in the OP. However, I get what you say about him needing to be accepted and liked. I felt sorry for him, actually, and being an aged adult, I really tried to advise him at first, but then it just got to be too much of a train wreck.

die hard.

I've seen the movies numerous times, but what does that have to do with SD?
