The heroes gathered at their hero league headquarters place thingy and plotted their next move. Southern Dad came up behind Tomorrow and clapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, didn't you..." Techgod started.

"Legends never die baby," Southern Dad said with a click.

Southern Dad has been revived.

Indeed...it seems he's a bit of a thug? :)

Regardless, we could have done worse for a first day lynch. And Southern Dad gets to play on.

Indeed, it seems that I may have to eat my words.

What a fascinating turn of events……..and it appears that I may have to revisit what I understand by the term "robust defence"……..

Welcome back, Southern Dad……..let the "night" continue to unfold with new wonders and doubtless……fresh horrors…...

well thats awesome to have him back, now he can play for more than a day.

onward, so ill let pluto make the warm chart.....but

twietee, scepticalscribe, plutonius, moyank, woodNUFC

those are the voters for SD, in order.

i can get twietee as just throwing a random vote out there. but then with SS, and pluto jumping on him to make it a bandwagon is suspect to me. a newer player is much easier to vote off day one, after a bandwagon starts.

whats up SS and pluto?

moyank and woodnufc??

Pluto and ss for me seem like votes to save Pluto. My vote wasn't all that random (tried to explain it before - thought he was the first player piling onto s.o., QoS, while I missed that ravenvii was actually the one + I wanted to change my vote for the Queen after her post). just saying.

QoS having as many posts as I do looks like she's up to something. she played whole games with posting less.. ;) I would know because I often missed her input.

nice comeback, southerndad! Err, sorry!? :D

I wished to ensure that Plutonius was not voted off (in a series of moves that struck me as all too convenient) on the first day.

When he is on the Side of Good he is far too valuable a player - as both player and analyst - and his contribution is far too good to have him annihilated in a witless motiveless (perhaps) vote, especially when Day 1 - for most people in the absence of information or evidence - is the proverbial aiming & firing in the dark.

Indeed...it seems he's a bit of a thug? :)

Reading the rules :)D), he very well could be the die-hard, too. Or, the narration did suggest that - although I'm not sure if we can take that literally, that he got revived by The Noobromancer.

After I fall asleep from working long hours, I find all the excitement as my power has been revealed, I have died and been revived. The music will never die. My boots are worn slap through from all that dancing.

No because that thug isn't saved by lynchings if I read the OP right.

SD is cleared. Anyone willing to chime in and tell me that if you were an experienced player would you infect SD because he got cleared?

Well, you said it yourself. SD isn't cleared because of a possible infection. If the infection already took place (would doubt it that early in the game) or later - no one knows, even Pluto doesn't. :D

Hm. I stand corrected. Actually, I had entirely forgotten about the Die-Hard role, (and thus, had to chase back to re-read that section of the rules).

For now, I take it that Southern Dad is cleared; he may have been infected but that is rather unlikely, to my mind; indeed, I cannot see WWs infecting someone whom they thought successfully lynched……Let's see what other surprises this night brings…..

It would be absolutely funny to see SD get killer by the wolves:D

I know it won't happen its just a funny thought:D

I agree about it being quite unlikely, all I wanted to point out (Capt. Obvious again) is that we can't rate him 100% cleared, yet. He may be red on a P-List though for all I know. ;P

I wonder what SouthernDad said about his role being revealed though. Maybe I missed that part somehow but he's either the die-hard or got revived, quite likely the latter because of the narration / info we got from chrmjenkins. Unless he somehow could magically revive himself (beforehand) but I don't think that's technically possible.

Funny is a matter of perspective. From over here it wouldn't seem too funny.

You believe you know my role but then again you know what happens when you assume, right?

No, I just can't understand your posts. Maybe stop playing that Banjo of yours all the damn time so I can hear you more clearly? And, no, I don't think I know your role at all - other than being a good hero that is. But you suggested we would so I got curious.

Personally, I believe twietee, scepticalscribe and plutonius plotted against me. They are not to trusted. My banjo was tampered with by some powerful magic but if I have to reach into my bag, someone will paying thr piper. I'm not to be fiddled with.

Oh...did I do that??

(For the record - no, I did NOT do that.)

That's a common MO for the bad guys, but it's not necessarily a given. They might wait another round or two.

if he was the die-hard he wouldn't have died, same with a judge's intervention, and the thug doesn't survive lynching, just attack.
it is sorcery at work here, and it appears the Necromancer has a soft heart for noobies, or a short shelf-life, or both.

for now Southern Dad is certainly cleared. it is unlikely and unnecessary for the wolves to infect so early, as there are no advantages to them, so we shouldn't bother about that for some time. but when infection does come into play, if he is still alive, than he is back in the 'likely' pool of suspects.

koodauw did feel bad he was gone so early, was that you koodauw?

:D

Well said. Like someone who, if he didn't get consumed the first night gets immediately lynched the second day without questions because nobody trust his analysis and mathemagics anymore?

But chrmjenkins doesn't play!? :D

Sounds like a good enough defense to me.

Anyway, there's a fairly good probability one of the others besides Pluto is a bad guy. Now, who to vote for?
