No worries! Thank you for running this game, and for all the roles. I was thoroughly entertained during 2 days of waiting to find out if I was going to be put on a jury. ;)

I think playing for the most part by phone was kind of a pain and a hindrance, I don't know how some of you guys do it regularly.

Don't panic - I tried! :(
 
That was a heck of a game! Thanks chrmjenkins! It seems like its been a long time since we've had so much action and it was fun to be a part of.

And I forgive those of you who didn't believe me and voted for me! :eek: :D

I usually go through fits of worrying things are too unbalanced to one side, but had rick not been voted off today, wolves would have won. Doesn't get any closer than that :)

as twietee and others had suggested, i decided to use the reviving power early as not to have it go to waste, and when it was southern dad, i thought he deserved to have at least a shot at playing the game for a bit more than one day.
glad it worked out. :)

And a special thanks to the Queen for trying to save my skin! ;)

btw, as much my and pluto's heat map 'lists' are joked and complained about, go check who were #1 and #2 on the last one... *pats himself on the back*

yes, i think that we have a winner with the multi-power format. more complicated, but it seems to keep everyone much more engaged.

I do think in this one the wolves turned out to be a bit overpowered, but a lucky turn compensated for that. for the next round, i would go back to night-only infection. but a lot actually depends on the exact number of players and how the powers distribute. it is so much harder to balance this way as there are too many combinations to predict all events.
speaking of infection, why so early?

in any case, kudos again for a job well done :)

You know, I really debated waiting a day to protect you, thinking the wolves might know you'd have protection the first day. Then I changed my mind because I didn't want to overthink things and end up with you dead when I could have saved you. Double blast. :D

I had no idea about abi, honestly, but rick stood out to me early but no one was buying what I was selling. :eek:

And brilliant use of misdirection by Moyank there at the end. That saved the village's bacon for sure.

This game turned out to be quite balanced in the end, but not sure if it was because of certain breaks or not. I think another round would be even more interesting, since we're all more familiar with the powers.

To be honest, I caught on straight away. I knew Mo was lying because she was too obvious about who she said she was gonna scan. I like to think I helped with my probability "trees" ;)
 
I would like to point out that I used my smoker ability to cover myself and rick the very night that Mo switched from rick to Abbie. I would love to know how this would have turned out had she scanned Rick that night instead of Abbie.

Oh well. Good game everyone!

PS I would also like to say that my missed vote really was an accident and not a deliberate strategy. Obviously I had to say that in the game, but it was the truth.

PPS being a wolf is really fun!

That is not true! I did point out that Tomorrow was cleared in the DP-list and that DP uses terrible colors. :D
Sythas got some extra trust-points because of you Pluto. You made an excellent post about aggie, DP (+ Sythas) being good guys before we could know that so I suspected you to be the Seer for some time. Good for us you weren't though. :D

Maybe we have only a different approach re 'cleared', that could be.

Not true. I simply like to make my own inferences where possible - partially to become better at my own analysis, and partially because in these games it's hard to fully trust anyone.

Once I'd made my own shortlist, I consulted DP's list for sure. But it's good to make your own conclusions before someone else's ideas get in your head, you know? In any event, they are always appreciated, especially in the beginning when we're all scrambling.

Wow, that's crazy. I still would have scanned Abi and Wood, but the good guys probably would have run out of time.

It was a fun finish to say the least.
 
Note to Rick, Abbie and Chris:

you might have noticed that the Kings' three wins on the Rangers precisely coincided with the time Random was "dead". Now that the game is over, "Against all Odds" acquires a completely new meaning....
after all, what were the odds of a possible Stanley-Cup-deciding puck stopping on the line? Just saying... ;):D

honestly, i think you will be celebrating into the night, but wouldn't it be even better if you got to go to game 7? :D

i have to say i am not a massive hockey fan (I am more a Knick fan). i would watch the games and root for the home team (and here have to confess I favor the Islanders :D), but it's not a passion. besides, the World Cup has started and that has taken most of my sporting attention.

Since it's the centeniary this year I always thought about a [WW]I, but that's a rather grim one.
If you're not interested I thought about asking ss for doing the narration while I would try my luck as a gg. But not sure if that's a good idea. ;) but that'dto be much later this year then (only if she's interested of course).
