SoutherDad, I choose you!

Ok, friends, I'm back from my overdose of emotions...

Now, we need to see the whole situation... 5 of us was identified by the innkeeper, and all of them will die. We all understand the situation, there might be more than one. I am a little dramatic, like every noble, but I am a REBEL too! SoutherDad I choose you!

Southern Dad holds his shepherd's crock up in the air to get attention. "As a mere shepherd, I find myself in a battle for my life. I have not doubt that the traitor must be from the capital. Those who live within the wall are known for treachery. Therefore, while I still trust no one from Luthadel, I am changing my vote to Sythas, Cadet son of the High House of Luthadel."

My apologies, dear friends and fellow rebels, for being tardy with my response. I have just returned from a long trip delivering goods on our troubled canals.

I hear there is an inquisitor among the group our oracle has seen. I see there is a great deal of suspicion cast upon our agrarian friends. Maybe there is something beside livestock and crops growing and grazing in our hinterlands. Might the region be the place of inquisitor incubation?

Southern Dad I rarely leave the waterways, but love to meet people. Tell me about yourself.

Not much to tell, a skaa shepherd who waves to the riverboats while tending my flocks, try to stay out of the walled city where all the treachery abounds with the wealthiest amongst us.

So both Sythas and imaketouchtheme come in and vote for the next highest person. Interesting.

Hmm, looks like my boatman fingers type rather slowly on this device, and votes were cast whilst I pecked my message. I will change to no vote to avoid any accidental majority lockage.

You, shepherd, are a faster typer than I. My apologies for missing your response while I typed my last.

Was that you, I saw waving frantically on the hillside? It appeared as though you were having an episode of some sort. It frightened me.

Just trying to trade some mutton for your wares. The boatsmen always have the best trades.

You sure you weren't frantically waving for help? Because of that, you know, lynch mob right behind ya?

While woodNUFC ships slowly past by in his little boat, smoking his pipe as usual, curious about all the commotion in the hinterland.... :D

It could be that I'm going to have act like a shepherd and get the flock out of here.

He's from Canada. 'nuf said. The land where you get Bieber and iJohnHenry.

Yes, it is indeed most interesting.

SouthernDad - an articulate and determined shepherd, has been vocal in his own defence, whereas some others have been quick to respond, but slow enough to speak up.

For now, it seems that our tally is as follows, but I am open to correction:

SouthernDad: (6): Twietee, rick snagwell, Queen of Spades, imaketouchtheme, Sythas, and abijnk.

Imaketouchtheme: (4): Techgod, Koodauw, Ravenvii, and Astroboy.

Sythas: (5): Plutonius, -aggie-, Scepticalscribe, Moyank24, SouthernDad

No-vote: (1): WoodNUFC

Yet to vote: Tomorrow, and chrmjenkins.

that is correct, SS.

Also, as a reminder for everyone, I am trying to keep an updated tally at this site:

Voting record

which is also linked to in my sig and in the OP

also, the OP has links to the various rules posts, if anyone needs a quick reference

Late in this
I would be remiss
Oh, worthy of thine hiss
Staying wish of bliss
Tis death's kiss

Please don't kill the newbie :(

EDIT- YEAH THAT LOOKED LIKE I WAS A WOLF FRIEND TRYING TO DEFEND SOUTHERN DAD HOWEVER THE ONLY REASON I SAY WHAT I DID ID BECAUSE OT SHOULD BE COMMON COURTESY TO NOT VOTE FOR THE NOOB.

Please don't kill the newbie :(

Still curious why you're voting for one yourself, instead of our Canadian oldtimer (hint: Sythas).

Unfortunately for you, our mysterious Oracle / innkeeper was quite curious about our newcomers as well. Maybe she wasn't sure if she could trust 'em with the tab...

The 'newbie', or 'newbies' in question would not face such scrutiny were it not for recent revelations.

What is of interest is the fact that our innkeeper Oracle, Queen of Spades, posed a question to a rather demanding and difficult deity which asked whether one of five, named individuals had loyalties which lay elsewhere.

The names she sought clarification on happened, for the most part, to be newcomers, none of whom we any of us knew much about.

To repeat, she asked whether one of TechGod (your good self, an accomplished metal-worker) SouthernDad, (our impressively vocal shepherd from the western Dominance), imaketouchtheme (a taciturn farmer from the central Dominance), Astroboy or Sythas, a nobleman who has been with us a while, had loyalties which lay elsewhere, and the answer, delivered rather dramatically was a firm affirmative. This means that at least one inquisitor, and possibly more, are to be found in this selection of names, names, for the most part, we know little enough about.

Unfortunately, this must be investigated more closely before we proceed much further, even though it is a rather unpleasant business.

Touch made it clear last game he wasn't exactly, he said he had played a game a year ago or something like that.

But yes fair point. And the answer to that? I don't know myself:D

Yes this is true I suppose, I have to be treated as traitor since I was in that pool of suspects.

Queen really screwed me over didn't she?:D

I was wondering that myself.

I'm voting for Sythas because
1) The others are new players (I give them at least one turn). If they were all new players, SouthernDad would get my vote.
2) Sythas plays an excellent WW but a mediocre villager.

Just to clear the air, I'm not a newbie, I just play like one because I quite honestly have no idea what the hell is going on most of the time. :p

just like any other noble my friend.... ;)

Yes. Well, I don't know about 2). And it's not like he couldn't 'do a twietee' and change vote for a third time (really, who's counting anyways?) and make it a tie. Heck, maybe even Sythad gets lynched a baddie and we're all friends again ;)

I switched myself only because iTouch got too many votes (5) at that time already and voted for whoever QoS, the only cleared player, went for.
