[WW] Secret Santa Clause - GAME OVER! CHRISTMAS IS SAVED!

"I'm not bad," Koodauw said as he sat down in the interrogation room.

Koodauw popped his head in, "okay," and left.

Shrugging, Koodauw --

What?

"Cut! Who the hell is wearing that Koodauw mask?!" ravenvii cried.

"Sorry, boss. This movie is crap and I'm trying to have fun," twietee said coming into the room.

"Cut that crap out! Again!"

...

"I'm not bad," Koodauw said as he sat down in the interrogation room.

"Okay --" twietee popped on. He snatched off the Koodauw mask "-- I mean... LIES! Call in the elves!!!"

"I swear! I'm no bad guy!" Koodauw cried.

True to twietee's words, elves begun streaming into the room. But instead of Koodauw, they begun to crawl all over twietee.

"Ahhh! Ahhh! Get 'em off me!" twietee cried. Moyank24 popped her head in "everything -- aw crap! ELVES! WRONG PERSON! WRONG PERSON!"

The elves paused quizzically, then immediately jumped onto the laughing Koodauw, who promptly stopped laughing and cried "FINE, FINE, I'M JACK! I'M JACK! GET THEM OFF ME PLEASE!"

"... doesn't seem so scary," Moyank24 said. "It's probably the Bogey guy that's doing the actual scarin'," twietee said.

Koodauw is Jack and has been thrown into the slammer.

IT IS NOW NIGHT

But perfect, one more to go! Good job Pluto! Fingers crossed Santa makes it another night.

Wouldn't it make sense, if the guard is still active that is, to out yourself now? Then Santa could out himself : herself and be protected.

if you mean for tonight, i thought it would be too late, but i guess it might not be.

if the guard is active and outs themselves and santa does as well, we are sure of getting through the night, but it is more risky tomorrow, as we have to count on the clause transfert to work.

it might be worth it, especially if both the guard and/or current Santa are one of moyank, twietee, doric and to a less extent QoS or Tomorrow.

For those that might be interested, Twietee is the other baddie. Everyone else is cleared (exception - there is a minor chance of those who were scared at night, to be a baddie).

Sorry Twietee :(. I left you for last though :).

So either Pluto is telling the truth and I was right since day 2 (not to toot my own horn or anything). Or Pluto is lying and trying to get twietee offed.

so the remaining question is whether Boogwietee Man can identify who Santa is in his last attempt. :eek:

I wonder though if Pluto really knows how many bad guys are in town actually. Maybe he already included you DP. Threatening me with his own daughter...gotta get scared for that..

"Oh noes! I'm being scurred! What am I to do?" cried Plutonius.

"Uh... nothing. Just get scared."

"You're not... going to hurt me or anything?"

"What, are you nuts? I just want to cancel Christmas, not bring down Santa's wrath!"

"But if you're scared of Santa, how are you planning to scare him?"

"... uh... I -- you! Nevermind that! I have my methods!"

Plutonius has been scared! It is now DAY!

Note that majority is now 4.

"I'm hungry! Hurry up and get in here!" it said.

Twietee, resigned, walks in and sits down.

"Damn it! Now I can't put "No elves are harmed during filming" on the credits! The liberals will be all up my business!" shouted ravenvii.

"Oops."

"Screw it. Continue!"

Moyank24 tore off her clothes.

A look of "**** yes" came over twietee's face... until he saw that Moyank24 is actually Santa Claus (fully clothed, thank the gods)!

"I will no longer tolerate your antics! Christmas will go on! Enjoy your coals in JAIL! HO! HO! HO!"

"CUT! That wraps it up!" ravenvii shouted.

"Worst. Movie. Ever." Queen of Spades muttered off-stage.

What do you think of the no-death game? Takes a lot of the edge off without the dying, doesn't it? Do you think there's anything that can be done to improve this style of gameplay, or is it a dead end?

I think it's great! Honestly. But from our perspective, if I may say so, it seemed a bit unbalanced. But definitely worth keeping up imho. I actually really like the no-death part. Works well with < 10 player I guess.
Not sure if i.e. Santa should be able to Clause a baddie without losing it though.

Can you give a wrap up over the backstage part please? Would interest me.

i think it's an interesting concept, but it really makes it almost irrelevant to be voted for most players, so it has much less tension than other formats.
The other issue i see is that basically the baddies go randomly at players, so it becomes mostly a game of chance.
it need tweaks, but it has potential, i think

There are certainly pros and cons.

Pros
You feel like you get a chance to play even if you're targeted early (DP)
There is more of a "long game" in play since you can vote to clear instead of vote to kill

Cons
There's less at stake, so people seem less passionate about dying or not dying
The no death thing also seems to cause less discussion in general

I really tend to think resurrection is one of the more fun additions to these games. Perhaps with the "imprisonment" style of play, someone could eventually be rescued, released, or otherwise returned to the field of play. But I think letting people live en masse takes away some of the edge and thusly some of the fun.
