Ok now I'm even more confuse... Why the Maniac sure was in play... since we don't know who's the guard for real, unless you swapped SS to Koodauw, and SS was not the guard ?
I know. Like DP said it's better to assume that SS was indeed the guard then got infected. There's other possibility like the guard is really someone else and did not want to reveal himself or was away, but then we should still have QoS with us, right ?
Man, they were too quick (excellent ww)! I didn't want to reveal koodauw but sure was hoping he would do it himself since the gamble on ss's absence wouldn't be a good one. By that he could have sort of cleared me and hence ss's infection. By that other people would have been cleared - albeit dead ones - who at least could be taken into consideration re voting records.

For some reason, I forgot that SS would have been informed of the switch as well. I'm not sure what I was thinking!
I can confirm that SS's scan came back as the oracle and infected.
For now, I'm voting for ucfgrad - if only to get him back in the thread and participating.

it wasn't unexpected that koodauw would be a target.
first, he was 100% cleared, second, twietee had already heavily implied that he was the one he had swapped SS's powers with.
so if that is what happened, then they got rid of the guard and a cleared player.
if he was the guard, koodauw could have protected himself, either he didn't, choosing to protect someone else, or he did, but got killed anyaway, in which case the maniac/meddler power would be in play (which is what i think twietee is referring to)
question for Chrmjenkins:
can the meddler redirect the guard protection to a different target?
question for moyank:
anything valuable and worth disclosing from your nightly work?

because I do feel totally stupid about it. That doesn't prove atm that she was the original guard though. But these overtly complex theories consume a whole lot of time and lead mostly into the wrong direction hence I guess we should take ss as the infected guard and move on.
