There's no case to be made on the first day. Either you claim to be a good special, or you say I'm innocent and we chose whether or not to believe you
but game to game there is. So I have an idea of how Phill reacted last game, and he was good.
And I can't remember ever catching anyone on the first day on anything other than luck.
You can catch inexperienced wolves on their first day. Perhaps I remember well because it happened to me.
Because I'd rather not vote off either of the better players (leading vote getters at the moment) and was hoping someone else would feel the same?

I was simply forcing a tie. I don't want him gone, obviously. The opposite, actually. But I wasn't particularly thrilled about lynching Wood either. Ah well, it is what it is.

People love how DP positively contributes to the village but the seer always scans him the first night just to be sure.

True, but it's like double teaming/intentionally walking a superstar in sports - if the other players keep stepping up, eventually it will stop. Or whatever. Too much Red Sox on the brain.
Focusing your attention on me will only redirect the attention onto you (who voted for me), next round. I would argue more so than WoodNUFC. If you are innocent, that is counter-productive to the village's cause.
