Hey guys - I owe everyone an apology, and especially @rick snagwell. I've been flat sick for five days with a pounding headache, sinus congestion, nausea, super weak, and I won't bore you with all of it. Literally I have not even had my phone out to check stuff since last Tuesday. It hit like a hammer and today is the first I've had my computer on. I haven't even caught up on the threat, yet.

Threat or thread?

That sounds like a nasty dose, and I hope you recover soon - nothing like a nice, hot whisky to help you on the way, preferably single malt aged…..

That really blows, fortunately he left some notes before losing his head. Since it reads like a requiem one could think he was the hunter and knew who got protected (himself) - but that's not for certain so there is a chance both specials still roam along the living and wolves wanted a secure kill (I do believe DP got protected the first night).

That's the other scenario - in this case I hope it's true. If you're just going for an early block in the game, DP is the best candidate to protect.

ravenvii made sure with both his votes that there is a villager to be hung. He'd be my candidate except that a) that the low amount of votes in general and no big vote changes on both days made his votes count as they did + b) I believe he is a player that, regardless the faction he's playing with, likes to enforce decisions by piling on early.

Meister, no input whatsoever, hides behind his qos retaliation vote.

Qos, I'd say plays quite normal in general, missed the vote which is very unsual - not sure she would have done that as a wolf

Pluto, so far I had a good feeling about DP and him and didn't really think Sythas a baddie as well so will follow with that gut instinct

comeagain with his usual low profile - can't say I embrace that playstyle: makes me wanna hang you! come on! :D

True, true - I just underestimated the weekend deadline. It was my mistake. I got caught in a haze of wrapping presents. Too much nog. :)

Going with mrkramer to put some pressure on him. But I'll be around.

Because I spent the day making Christmas cookies! And Tapatalk isn't sending push notifications so it's hard to continually checking.

I also didn't really know what to think about the no kill.

No problem. I was just wondering since you didn't vote but you responded to Rick's post just after the deadline.

QoS also didn't vote but she has always had a reason the few times she missed one.

mrkramer since he likes bandwagons :D.

not going for mrkramer's wagon just yet, although he's high on my list as well. what's majority? 5?

so Meister will do for the moment.

Well QOS and Mo aren't really the kind of players to immediately resort to killing DP from the get go.

I also would expect DP to be protected, hunter or not, since he's generally a useful player to have when he's a villager.

Quick Edit:

I'd just finished and thought to check my phone... Terrible timing on my part.

I'm going to change my vote for Meister as unless I counted wrong we both are tied with 2 votes and I got there first so I want to get him up to 3.

tally time

ravenii 1 /// meister
comeagainn 1 /// moyank24
mrkramer 2 /// qos, pluto
meister 3 /// ravenii, twitee, mrkramer

yet to vote: comeagain

LOST IN THE WOODS IS IN EFFECT. IF YOU DONT VOTE TWICE IN A ROW...

Still plenty of time.

That is true. Although I had to follow last game almost completely from the sideline I think the repeatedly quick bandwaggoning wasn't helping in the end.

Looking at Day 1 votes it's hard for me to imagine mrkramer being a bad guy. What are your reasons, QoS and Pluto? Anything specific?

Meister plays the sphinx - which I don't like but have to ask myself if that's a strategy a wolf thinks helpful.

I'll change to ravenvii for a three way tie.

Can't imagine anyone has anything concrete at this point - but I voted for him for a couple of reasons. Most importantly, I don't know him or his play style well enough and I wanted to put some pressure on him to defend himself. Day one he re-made a point someone else had already made (I always consider this "easy/fake" participation), and day two, he voted for Sythas who was a villager. I had been thinking Sythas was (once again) an "easy" vote there - someone who always generates suspicion (it's your name, Sythas!) is an easy target.

Like I said, not much, but better than nothing. Why did you originally suspect meister? He was also on my list.

In my defense none of us had much to go off of for the first day, so I don't see how that makes me suspicious.

For now there's no one I'm really convinced is a wolf so I'll keep changing my vote to defend myself and go to ravenvii to break the 3 way tie.

well, mrkramer was on my radar because of the exact same sentiment re: easy Sythas vote. But he did put out his neck on day one casting a third vote for Pluto when Melrose was tied to Pluto 2v2. Since we know Mel was a lonely villager I think it would be a really bold move on mrkramer's part (regardless whether Pluto is a good or bad guy!) - not sure I take him for such a player. But you are right that he is new - to me at least - and Sythas can be irritating so that works both ways. If anything Mo and ravenvii jumped on the Sythas train too easy fot my liking.

Meister, well, gotta be honest: I just love to vote Trump (out)! :D

It's really as good a reason as any, I guess. ;)

One of the reasons I jumped on the Sythas train (who had 1 vote at the time) was to see how other votes fell. it kind of backfired, though, because not everyone voted that round so using these early round votes for intel is that much harder.

^ true, Moyank. Day two seems a bit screwed - for now at least.

re mr.kramer: i refer to post #52. he had voted already for DP so didn't even have to "hide" his vote anymore + could have tied someone else - instead he chose to create a front-runner which I consider putting out one's neck which isn't textbook-wolk in my textbook. But I have a couple of pages missing so maybe I'm off with my applied behavior analysis..

Btw. what's happening in case comeagain votes? The day is over, right? What's happening when I switch to no-vote and comeagain votes: is it deadline again or day3 is still over?

The day isn't over yet. Post 118 said it ends in 32 hours, and I think we have somewhere around 12 hours until that deadline comes. So @Comeagain? still has a chance to get his vote in if he doesn't want to get lost in the woods somewhere.

^ Is that a subtle incentive to make comagain cast a quick vote and lock this thing? ;)

Because that was not what I was asking.

Edit: Anyway, quite sick/ill myself (feel with you Melrose) so gotta rest now. Crossing fingers for a lucky break.

Well I'm not sure why but something about mrkramer has me bugged. Maybe it's the switching votes a lot. I'm not sure why, but it feels off.

What are your reasons, QoS and Pluto?

Nothing specific and I am willing to change if someone has a better idea.

The main reasons were because he was so willing to jump on a bandwagon and his response in post 105 when he was called out on it.

Comeagain will either be lost in the woods or near the top of my list if he happens to make an appearance at the last moment.

I'm tempted to vote for meister because of his one word post :D.
