I doubt it's just for the iPhone as some have speculated. It went down RIGHT as the Keynote started.

Hmmm, i hope the new GUI goodies can sing well on the GMA. I have never bought a retail box of OS X....tempted to do so now. Maybe i'll just wait till i buy a new system altogether
 
i'm not sure if i'll be comfortable with the iTunes interface... and whether it will be really smooth... just like coverflow...
 
I'm not sure how I feel about half of the GUI being unified Illuminous while still retaining some Aqua aspects such as buttons.

Hahaha, that was the first thing I though, too. But EA releasing games for Macs is pretty sweet. Sure EA is kind of the suck, but they are the single biggest game maker in the world, so it'll help attract more game developers to "take the Mac seriously".
