i'm not sure if i'll be comfortable with the iTunes interface... and whether it will be really smooth... just like coverflow...

I think if it was awkward, the developer's would have taken notice of that. In other words, I think the developer's and all people involved wouldn't do this if it wasn't better.
 
He's talking about BootCamp now, this should be interesting if they add some new features.

Edit: Auto-installing drivers ftw.
 
OK, 64-bit and Core Animation features had already been released, and all of the other features are related to one thing - the interface.

Where are the real improvements?

in a way it helps since it will allow developers to do cool stuff in their apps

So for an end-user, apart from using more cool apps... there's nothing much that we can do with it...?
 
I haven't purchased an OS since 10.2. I think it's time to buy an OS again. I like the looks of it, but as usual, I'll wait to see what happens to the early adopters.
