in all, leopard is an upgrade to add simplicity and ease of use, some visual upgrades, and updated core apps. leopard is also a big update for devs;).

(ps: i cant wait for resolution independence :D )

No, it will be posted here :)

Thank you!

I was upset about the keynote, but that's only because I'm greedy.
Leopard looks insanely nice and having the vids/info on the site has calmed me down.

I am annoyed however, by the lack of AT&T contract info at this time. Some people have to figure out and plan at this point.
It does sound that typically at this WWDC, hardware is talked about.... is that why the dissapointment? That WWDC typically springs some hardware or hardware info?

And, could anyone share any history Apple has of any keynote/announcement types in between predicted events? Like any last minute - "oh wows"?

Where is the WWDC07 Video??

Apple still hasn't uploaded the WWDC07 Keynote from Steve Jobs to their Leopard web page! There's just a box that says "Watch this space for the exclusive webcast of the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote address by Steve Jobs."

When will it be there? In the past, Apple has been much quicker to get the videos up. Hmmm....

Unimpressed :-/

I love the stuff...but even if you're unimpressed with the displayed things, I'm sure you'll love some under-the-hood improvements.

It will have better networking. It will have a faster boot camp. iChat will have remote-screen-control. And best of all: all round grammar checking :)

Hate to bring this up again but I was hoping to buy my first Mac this month but looks as if the iMacs were not updated at WWDC. Any news on when they might be? I don't really want to buy a product at the end of a it's cycle.

What I was so damn certain to hear today was : New iLife, New iSight, New Apple Screens, New iMac, New iWorks, New and much better .mac, New mac Mini. And much more about Leopard.

I am not saying I expected them all to be announced... But a few of them would have been nice.

As for Leopard, why oh why did we wait THIS long for those extra 3 or 4 features he showed us. I seriously thought there would be more.

Oh well... I guess this is the 4th disappointment of these expos.

Still I love the new MacBook Pro... I just wonder, what the requirements are for MacOS X 10.5

:(

So what about the veiled banners? Have those been uncovered to be nothing special or have they yet to been shown?

And also with Boot Camp that is being shipped with Leopard, will it be giving us 64-bit Vista drivers? Or too soon to tell?

Cheers!
Bob

To all those who listened to the audio feed provided by iPhone Alley from yesterday's World Wide Developer Conference 2007 - we appreciate all support given from everyone. We tried our best to deliver the feed to you; UStream's servers, for the most part, held up nicely - we were actually on a dedicated server. We really did try our best and will try to serve the Mac community in future events. The audio quality was not the best at first, but then became better a few minutes into the presentation. We hope you enjoyed listening and we also hope you stopped by the IRC chat room; a lot of talk was going on in there during the presentation.

We all had a great deal of fun. We hope you stop by iPhoneAlley.com and receive the most up-to-date in-depth reviews and information available on the web for the upcoming iPhone. While you're at it, you might want to stop by the iPhone Alley forums, too.

We enjoyed serving you and hope to serve you in future events.

Thanks,
Matt

Sopranos

I usually try to be mature and not whine too much...

but I got caught twice by my boss watching the live feed instead of working, and what did I get out of it?

NOTHING. I'm not even excited about Leopard, I'll stick to tiger if that's all there is to it. Not even a smidge of hardware for us? I prefer tiger to vista, but really that's mostly personal preference, and really Leopard looks like it's awfully close to on-par with vista for the average user.

Literally nothing for the devoted mac lovers, safari??? I'll stick with firefox thanks. new website design?! ooooooh, i'm trying to care but it's rough when there's absolutely nothing new on it.

Boy oh boy, if I didn't have the final episode of the sopranos waiting for me at home and a new big love tonight I'd walk home in head-down charlie brown style depression stupor.

I'm sure you were joking about the final episode waiting for you at home.....Then again, this would definitely be a day in the life of CB, wouldn't it? ;)

when i scroll down to the bottom of this page and then refresh to see if there is more posts it doesn't scroll back down to the same position.

Time to unistall.

That's because you have an anchor in the URL (i.e., the text after the # symbol in the URL). That's what makes the page scroll back to a certain position, which is usually the position of your last post.

No, this is a change in behavior. It doesn't have to do with anchors. Safari 2 would remember your position on the page (as Firefox does) when you reload. Safari 3 Beta does not.

Yes Safari 3 Does Forget Where We Were When We Reload

I agree this is a bug in Safari 3 that I miss was not in 2.0.4. But it's not enough of a bug to make me revert to 2.0.4 thanks to all the other TONS of improvements. I imagine it will be fixed soon enough as it is one of the more glaring oversights.

WWDC 2007 Playlist

For anyone that attended the Keynote or the many sessions at this year's WWDC, can anyone name the artists or songs that was played before or after each keynote/session.

I recall U2, Gorillaz, and Incubus being played quite a lot but then there were some artists I have never heard of and want to know their names or songs.

Anyone?
