I had a 9600 Baud modem I used to connect to BBS's a long,long time ago.

I still remember using Archie and Veronica servers to download .WAV snippets of my favorite songs.

iPhones don't hold up well when you fall on them as you slide across a parking lot after losing your balance. But hey, if mine was going to break, could there have been a better time to be in the market for a new one?

Ouch!

I hope the iPhone's screen is fairly resilient. Two people in my immediate family had the screens of their cell phones' displays crack within the first month of use.
