WWDC 2008 'Spoiler Free' Keynote Stream [Updated]

Ok so what does that mean for me!!! GRRR!! :mad:
I live in new york which is eastern standard time. These friggingly slow text "live" blogs on all the sites are infuriating!
If the keynote started at 1pm eastern time then when roughly do you think the stream will be online my time? :(

It wasnt online till I got home from work last time...which was about 3:30-4pm your time (eastern)
 
I can't help myself, I'm watching the iPhone software roadmap feed from March because I have to see something!

Same url that Voidness and everyone posted last time if anyone wants to watch this to keep themselves occupied:

hopefully it will be the same link in a few hours for today's event ...

Ok, so I have like 10 firefox tabs up of all the live blogs and as usual they all suck!!!!! :mad:
Maddenly slow refreshes and inaccurate coverage of actual events as interpreted by some kid at a keyboard.
I've decided to wait a few hours for the stream. I will look for the stream at about 4pm eastern u said? :(

I wouldn't recommend any other link than a direct quicktime movie link, since most of those pages contain spoilers.
 
The wait is killing me! I know every website on the whole internet has the goods on display! I have to catch a plane in a couple hours... The stream BETTER BE READY SOON!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGGG :eek::eek:

In a couple hours ? The video is still at least an hour away in the best case, and then you would still need to download it or watch it before you leave.
 
ok i have opted for the podcast version to have a better video, i risked going ot itunes at !!:40 PST and did not get any spoiler, i have subscribed to the apple keynote podcast (the top hit in podcast today, duh) and just have my podcast window open in itunes, and im off the store incase anything spoilereque pops up later.
( i also have the description column in itunes turned off, so i can only see the title of podcast, in case the label it something telling)
this seems to be a good safe way, ok, now i have to walk away from my computer, i have every year ruined for me by my sloppy use of the computer, this year will be different!!!!
 
Yup. Well I decided to wait. Thought I would amuse myself by continuing to get used to my BRAND NEW 52" SAMSUNG LCD BOOYAAAAA!! Some bf2 on it should keep me busy for a few hours till I can download the keynote.
Anybody know how to launch bf2 on a 2nd screen using nvidia dual view? :(
 
this is the first chance i have had in long while to view the keynote without spoilers. in the past i have had other commitments and couldn't wait all day. in fact i believe the last time i have seen an unspoiled keynote was when they used to stream it. i miss those days.
 
I'm irate - somebody just told me what the keynote headliner was - I am so angry. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

if samsung, BF2, or nvidia are somehow a part of the keynote in any way shape or form, may god have mercy on your soul
 
I'm soooo very desperate !!! I'm even afraid to search google because they show breaking news . . . . The only sites that are safe are porn sites . . . and even i'm getting annoyed at wanting to see the keynote clip more . . . and when porn becomes second class to me :eek: . . . thats when you know something crazy must be going on
 
The best way to stay spoiler-free is to not read this thread at all, just in case.

If you do read it, please report posts that shouldn't be here.

OMG! I was *just* looking at Google News to kill time when I read your post. Thanks for the heads-up!

P.S. Any ideas on whether the apple-QTV website itself will spoil the keynote? For the iPhone roadmap event, it spoiled the SDK and Enterprise program :mad:

I feel your pain. But this post shouldnt be here. haha.. I feel like those who knows are infected and can destroy us all if they're here.

they always have spoilers:

title (watch the video of the xxxxx introduction)
pictures (aluminum iMac)
content (iPhone SDK and such)

Ah don't worry - I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I'll tell you what happened. Someone left one of the computers in the house on a website, on a page reporting ONE of the announcements. Which, hopefully, means that while that has been completely ruined (well not completely, I only read half of the headline), there's still much more to surprise me- I hope - I genuinely do not know.

apple regularly spoils there QT page, since they put a image up for each stream and it is usually of the great thing announces, that is not a safe spot in the past
i am even worried that the podcast will have a spoiler splash screen, i'm not going to uncover the window till he starts talking
 
argh, any way to 'predict' what the direct URL to the quicktime will be? i'm going to watch it at work :D. unfortunately I can't get the podcast as i'm not allowed to install iTunes :(
