Stock ticker is a spoiler for those who know what happened during previous keynotes......

The movie game? (someone names an actor/actress, then the next person says a movie that the actor/actress has been in, then the next person says another actor/actress from that movie, etc...)

...without looking at imdb i hope :p

omg, i went to look for this thread at my desktop and i by mistake went to the front page, but i quickly shut my eyes and pressed apple+Q,
Phew! that was flippin close, apple just love torturing us dont they!

how long does it take them to p ost a simple video!!!!!

important question: is any one here checking the quicktime page frantically to see when the stream is available? For all we know it could already be up

That stock ticker incident . . . it kinda . . . i dunno popped my bubble . . . :( . . perhaps La Tonda can get my spirits up . . .

Hmm, can you explain how those go?
The Word Association Game is simple, someone posts a word and then the next person posts the first word that comes to mind. The next person posts the first thing that comes to mind about the second post, and so on. Phrases are also allowed.

The Image Search Game is slightly riskier, as it involves going off-site. Basically, we start with someone posting a word or phrase. The next person puts that into an image search, and posts any interesting image that comes up as a result (it doesn't have to be on the first page). They then post a word or phrase inspired by the picture they've just posted. The next person then takes that word or phrase, and puts it into an image search, and so on.

The Ruin A Wish Foundation is quite fun. Basically someone posts a wish, which is then granted by the next person - but in a manner that makes the wish far less appealing than it would first have been. For instance, "I wish I had a million dollars" could be followed by "granted, but it's all in pennies and scattered across the globe." That person then makes their own wish which is then spoilt by the next person.

The Banned! game is simple. Basically, a poster 'bans' the person posting before them for any reason they see fit, no matter how silly or unreasonable.

The point I was trying to make was that the market, in my opinion, tends to react completely randomly after keynotes, or to be heavily influenced by the economy as a whole, especially in these times...

lol mate think you quoted the wrong guy :D

three possible answers:
have you done anything to your fonts?
Check the default font settings in FF preferences
Apple screwed up the code for its website

P.S. If you don't care so much about spoilers. would you mind checking for the QT link?

That is kind of a spoiler as it confirms that there was no new iMacs announced. Please be a teeny bit more careful :) and would you mind checking out the QT link? thanks :)
