Nice going Arn!!!

You blew my plans all to hell... I sure hope you can sleep with yourself knowing how you've forever changed my outlook as a man and a mac user!

I wanted to be SURPRISED about the fact that there was a WWDC event and/or the WWDC even would be streamed at a later time/date...

Well life will never be the same again...

/looks for a high bridge, cliff or sizable credenza to jump from...

:D

Sorry but I just had to poke fun at the people who whine about this stuff each and every year... You come to MacRumors for a reason, to read about all sorts of leaked juicy tidbits that find their way out of Cupertino! Then when it comes to actual/factual Apple news being reported LIVE blow by blow you go nuts if you see it mentioned?

People are weird... I mean I can kinda see wanting to see the 'presentation' thats something only Apple truly does well but if that were the case then I would take it upon myself to steer clear of sites where the new might be reported realtime... Like Apple sites, news sites, financial sites, etc etc etc.

Come on boy and girls... Its time to take responsibility for yourself and quit having a hissy when any of the mac sites so what they are expected to do.. You know you don't wanna hear stuff... then DONT visit! :D

Dave

I won't be going spoiler-free any more (until Jobs comes back, of course). But the original reason for these spoiler-free notifications was because of the entertainement value of watching a keynote and being surprised. Recently though the leaks have become more and more accurate, and the Keynotes aren't as entertaining any more. I blame the endless demo's and departure of Steve Jobs.

If that's what you think, fine, but please don't ruin it for anyone, OK? :)

and we are going dark... so what is everyone doing to pass the time?

Lock down is in effect. :) The keynote started!

i think we should all invest in a military grade bunker to hide out in during the day of the keynotes... anything short of it would put us at risk

I just closed my mail w/rss feeds. and all other tabs. maybe ill try and sleep to make up for the lost sleepy time from my last All night Youth party...gurrgglrf....

I miss the good old days where i could fit all my spoiler free badges in my sig....

werent those the good times... ive done every event since the 2008 MWSF

Chores. :D (And the occasional bout of Gish...and checking the websites I know won't have anything tech- or Apple-related on them.)

im not even gonna check sites that i dont think will have anything just to be safe... im not taking any chances

I'm switching to the spoiler-free side now. Sorry, I won't be able to report on the direct link. There are others looking out for the link, right?

yup... void has us covered

guys im drawing a blank... how long after the completion of the presentation does it usually take to get the stream up?

I accidentally jumped on the live feed but I closed my eyes :D

Best refresh this page than the MR live feed :D:D:D:D

I have a memory of it starting at 6? in UK then not appearing until 11 or after

and even longer for high quality podcast download (next morning)

30-40 minutes if someone finds a direct stream (not on the Apple site)

But I assume those are not the same as the keynotes that you can stream from the Apple site a bit later? I'm guessing they need to do some quick editing (focusing the speaker or keynote presentation when needed, etc) before it's up, so that's why it takes a while.

Can't wait though! Still 2-day-spoiler-free :D

for some reason this time around is the hardest yet... its taking all i have to not look at a live blog

When

30-40 minutes if someone finds a direct stream (not on the Apple site)

Earliest in the last 2 years (6 events) was 9:35pm UK time which was 3:35 after the start of the presentation.

Gave up waiting last time and watched the blogger coverage - made the actual presentation much duller - mind you, so did all the advertising demos!

Get well Steve.

6 Macs, 3 iPhones, Airport Extreme and some serious debt.

Hey all! :D

Back on just about the only board I post on - Spoilerfree!
Its good to be back. Back with the most geeky people on the planet! Not only are we MacRumors readers (Huge Geekyness) but we hang out here in the hope of watching a webcast of an Apple Event spoiler free (Titanic Geekyness!!). Really; the geek factor here is a beautiful thing!

Thanks again Void for supplying us with the link! You (still) da man!

I'm hoping for:
iPhone video recording and editing (on new hardware only - thats the killer app)
A large BT or dock keyboard for iPhone with a good word proc' app (with propper Spell Check!)
Snow Leopard release date
Apple TV software and hardware update

I rate the above as:
yep
nope
yep
I wish

What are you guys reasonably expecting?
(And if anyone says G5 PowerBook, I'll scream! ;) )
