Well, I'm shooting 30-40 minutes but last time I looked at a keynote (mini one) was the October laptop one, where it took just about that time (surprisingly). Yes the last exciting keynote for me anyways :D

This is WWDC so it might be different. How long did they take to upload MacWorld?

EDIT : Out of curiosity, how do people like void and Macnoviz find the links? Guessing?

Hey all! :D

Back on just about the only board I post on - Spoilerfree!
Its good to be back. Back with the most geeky people on the planet! Not only are we MacRumors readers (Huge Geekyness) but we hang out here in the hope of watching a webcast of an Apple Event spoiler free (Titanic Geekyness!!). Really; the geek factor here is a beautiful thing!

Thanks again Void for supplying us with the link! You (still) da man!

I'm hoping for:
iPhone video recording and editing (on new hardware only - thats the killer app)
A large BT or dock keyboard for iPhone with a good word proc' app (with propper Spell Check!)
Snow Leopard release date
Apple TV software and hardware update

I rate the above as:
yep
nope
yep
I wish

What are you guys reasonably expecting?
(And if anyone says G5 PowerBook, I'll scream! ;) )

i agree... we are super geeky but i think were all perfectly fine with that :D

and im right there with you... this is just about the only forum i post on as well

Someone might want to delete that link to Engadget in rhett7660s post, I clicked it and saw a spoiler. I won't mention anything though. ;)

Is it strange that for the most part I usually have no intention of actually purchasing anything from these keynotes, but yet I still don't want to see spoilers, and would rather watch them?

I just hope Steve makes a suprise jump on the stage or something. Wishful thinking though :(

Not at all. Every once in a while with these things, we get to witness industry history being made, and the keynote is always the best way to see it happen.

I know we can't post hints to the spoiler free veterans but can we make stuff up?

Damn, an Apple car, who'd have thought it?
Wow, I can't believe Jobs rode onto the stage on a Harley Davidson.

I like that idea!

HOLY HELL YOU GUYS they're demoing a humanoid Mac on stage right now! It looks kind of like the FemaleType bot, but larger and better-designed!

i sent him a DM asking if he would take it out... sorry about that :(

you might want to be careful... as long as you make it clear beforehand that its a joke you should be fine but again... you may want to be careful with what you say & how realistic it is

Well, the PowerBook I'm using is still just a G4...:D

Ha! Excellent!
I'm still rocking my 12"PowerBook, too! All 867MHz of it!

I have to admit, though, I steal back the white MB I got my GF more often than not. The little PowerBook sure feels slow now! Shame, I still love it.

I'm still using my first generation 17" Powerbook 1GHZ with 1 GB Ram. Its been six years to the month that I got it as a HighSchool Graduation gift. Its still works great, although I cant go 15 seconds with it not plugged in, the battery is shot.

I'm able to use FCP pretty well, as well as a lot other software. But I would like to get a current generation, but alas, it will have to wait until my checkbook agrees. :(

So is the keynote over?

i have no idea :D some how ive managed to stay completely oblivious of the outside world... it feels pretty good

what do people think of whats happening in North Korea with the two journalists?

So is the keynote over?

nope, still going (just peeked a bit, no spoilers luckily, though I did get a dose of spoilers before I decided to go spoiler free. Don't worry though, my lips are sealed.

P.S. It has been quite a while since I last heard a G5 Powerbook joke. They're starting to get funny again!

the wounds are healing, huh?
what about zippy/snappy jokes?

Yeah, that's why I thought I could get away with it!
If I had gone for a 'uMB with firewire' joke I would have (quite rightly) got flamed off this board quicker than Steve saying 'Boom'.

...Man. I miss Steve saying 'Boom'!

Compared to the WWDC Keynote Page 2 thread in 2008, seems like the this years thread seems, a bit low?
