So they ended up copying Android which is kinda anti-climactic. I hope this is just a stop-gap. As it stands webOS still remains the champ at notification UI.

It's OK if you're Apple. God forbid anyone else do it though.

Just thought he same, it's okay for Apple to rip others off but not for other to rip off Apple.

As for Lion, what a flop, king of the cats my arse. 250 new features, I wonder if they include every single menu change like the did with Tiger and Leopard.

I am going to want a demo of all those other features they listed but of course were not worth the time showing.

If I can not get it on DVD at all anywhere, it is a no go.

Personally, I disagree: I've used WebOS and Android and much prefer the Android method of notifications

Apple perfects, others rip off. A hard pill to swallow for some, but it's the way things are. When stuff makes it to iOS, it works like it should have worked all along. This is Apple.

That has always been the Apple Inc. way…

I think you know the answer to that is: Of course they did… ;)

I'm glad they didn't shy away from doing notifications the android way because it's the best way to do them. No point in just not doing something because someone else has already.

I'll wait to see if you can burn the files onto DVD before I give it a complete miss.

The main new feature is a revamped e-mail client, the rest of the 'new' features seems to be copied from Microsoft 20 years ago.

So no hard reboot? That seems a little odd.
