The rule is - No posting speculation about what Apple is announcing.
I don't see how that could be any clearer. To help, ARTOFWAR then offered an explanation as to why speculation might not be welcome, in his example someone might post actual knowledge of events as speculation.
Do we really have to clarify simple rules? So if ARTOFWAR had posted
- No posting speculation about what Apple is announcing.
(in the event of actual knowledge being passed of as speculation)
(in the event of personal speculation or wish lists being correct)
(no animated gifs with possible spoilers in them)
Would that make things clearer? By your interpretation of the rules you would post a JPEG because only gifs were specified as not allowed in my example.
It's really not hard. Can't we all get along?
For the last time, CBlakeston - stop it.
You are the one not getting along here and you do not have the mandate to create any rules. The admins do, and I will be happy to follow any such directives at any time, including the approach you propose, even if I don't have to be happy with it since "spoiler" has nothing to do with senseless speculation.
Happy? Now move on, please.
