I think you should stay tuned for the State of the Union keynote at 2pm Pacific....that keynote is tailored for devs...
I know about state of the union, I was talking more about this keynote and what it tends to be.

Ok. They even announced a few Iphones at the event. I guess I get confused because now Apple has like 4 or 5 different events each year. They have something for the Macs, for Iphone, last year they had one for TVOS, and I know they don't want to make the Keynotes like 3 hours. Still, this keynote has been one of the more lower key keynotes I can remember.

The hardware has been less and less at WWDC over the last 5-10 years. MacBook at a keynote was so long ago.

It's finished now, no hardware, not surprisingly.

I mean I like the safari update lol, but yea it was some nice changes but not a OMFG moment really.

I’m surprised they didn’t have at least a little “one more thing” at the end as an homage to it being the 10th anniversary of the last keynote Steve Jobs did.

There's no reason why Apple has to do the consumer-oriented stuff at WWDC other than WWDC historically has a keynote. They could easily do the consumer-oriented features (facetime and iMessage improvements etc) as a separate event, especially now that they have done several of these remote/online-only conferences.
Keynote is more consumer facing. State of the Union is more traditional Dev keynote.
