No additional hardware needed…just these giant goggles that you have to wear. I suppose they may become normalized, in the same way that large over the ear headphones are normal to see people wearing out and about. I’ll hold off for another decade when they’ll be more like a typical pair of sunglasses.

I’m sorry but I’ve seen this before. Microsoft did this already with the HoloLens years ago. I am not impressed. The iPod, iPhone, and Apple Watch were very impressive when they were announced but this feels like an SNL skit.
