Well I think it’s … interesting. Though I probably won’t be buying one, I’ll definitely be watching out for the Gen 2 version and beyond. Realistically, this isn’t going mainstream until it’s physically less intrusive. In the meantime, it looks like a very interesting way to figure how which applications work in AR and which don’t.

So how do YOU look like to the people on FaceTime? Surely not just a giant couple of eyes?

Who in the world would want to wear this on their face?

Whats the cable even connected to? She got the Battery in her pants?

Okay, that's definitive proof it's fake…women's pants don't have pockets. And if they do, they aren't big enough for the battery pack at the other end of that thick cable.

Didn't they say EyeSight would automatically activate if someone entered your field of view? How would that even work in public or in an office setting, wouldn't it be activating all the time?
Maybe it could even be active all the time based on location, the office being one such setting. But having it react or not according to the task at hand and the do-not-disturb setting, and perhaps having it be able to smartly override it – like, say, by detecting the degree of urgency in an interruption, or fire alarms/sirens, à lá fall detection, would make sense.

The only inherently creepy thing about it at the moment is the visual aspect of the implementation, because it can be made to work well from a social and practical standpoint, it's just a UX thing.
