iphone 15 pro or later? That’s cold Apple.

But happy because I have M1 Macs (Studio) and an M1 ipad pro (phew, just made it!)
Probably the basic iPhone 16, as well. The A17 series has a significantly improved NPU over the A16.

I’m still a quite confused as to how all this will be surfaced from a UI standpoint. Toolbars and menus or will a lot of it be hidden behind long press? And is Siri deciding when it offers up ChatGPT or will it always be an option?
Siri will explicitly ask if you want to use ChatGPT and willing to share data. You dont have to use it.

Will Apple Intelligence be free for all? Hope they don't create another add-on subscription to iCloud or rather Apple One. I'm thinking, the "Private Cloud Compute" would definitely cost $$$.

Why would you expect macOS on the iPad? They have repeatedly said they aren’t going to do it.
I'm not expecting it. I'm wishing for it. I'm a iPad Pro power user. And I hate iPadOS. Other than gaming, there is literally not a reason for me to upgrade from my 12.9" M1 outside of maybe a bigger screen that's been rumored. And that's me as a power user!

I do wonder exactly what Wall Street was expecting. Would the stock be up right now if Apple Intelligence was part of an Apple One subscription?

Yep. Prefer it seamless. Not should I check with ChatGPT?

I like the ‘AI for the rest of us’ tagline. Apple should focus on things that are useful to the most people. I feel like that’s what they showed off today. I think it was a good WWDC but I wish iPad OS got more love.
I noticed they brought back that tagline from the original Mac, as well. That seems to be the focus. If they make it easy to use the things that are actually useful, and improve the consistency, that’s a win. One of the biggest issues with generative AI is its inconsistency.

What a load of utter tripe.

So basically Siri will still suck and you'll need to ask chatgpt, otherwise they wouldn't put the choice in the OS.

Genmoji is just.... give me strength

photos app is an utter abomination and PROOF the designers have all left apple.

No AI for anyone with 6GB or RAM, but but but iPhone don't need it because iOS is so smooothzzzz

I’m not even talking about ChatGPT. There’s a lot of Apple Intelligence that has nothing to do with ChatGPT. But I am curious how it will work with Siri. Does Siri decide if it can assist and if it doesn’t think it can it asks you if you want to use ChatGPT? Or does Siri always give you the option to get results from ChatGPT (assuming you opted in)?
