The white in the bottom of the banner is the top of a heart as we generally see a heart depicted. I say it is a lot about this health app. And yes I see the top depicting what looks like an apple but I still feel that's a heart.
Hell, the A7 is already slightly ahead of the Intel Core 2 Duo powering this Dell I'm typing on.....better geekbench scores for the A7.
Let the deciphering begin!
But before all that... if you look closely, it says, "Write the code. Change the world".
Could this be some self-effacing irony?
!!!
Hehe I know that. It translates to: "We are switching to ARM CPUs. And since noone is going to write s/w for us anymore, you'd better start writing your own !"![]()
So, just showing the profile of the top of the Apple logo looks a lot like a heart to me.....Health? Other than that, I can't read anything obvious into it this year.
EDIT: Or this just came to me....Heart-BEAT(S)? (by dre)
And notice the colors above the "heart" go from blue to red as blood does as it is pumped past the lungs! OK...I'm stretching, but that's what I see.
You know it's WWDC when the world goes insane over dots and a fruit shaped logo

They've posted these articles for every Apple event ever. Why would they not do it for WWDC?
With this being a developer's conference, I'm really surprised no one has mentioned the possibility of Aperture X. Final Cut Pro X was announced WWDC 2011 and Logic Pro X during the WWDC 2013. I see this as a great possibility alongside OS 11 and iOS 8.
Seeing this gave me an idea. What if the new Apple TV and the lower priced iMac are meant to replace the mac mini. Don't laugh...yet, read on.
Current mac mini owners usually fall into on of two categories:
1. Those who use it as an inexpensive desktop. Rumors of a lower priced iMac would make sense for this group.
2. Those who use it for a media center. An upgraded Apple TV with 3rd-party apps would make sense for this group.
I'm not making any predictions. Just food for thought.
But 16 or 32 A8 cores running at 2.6GHz... That would be anything but slow
The Core 2 Duo was released in 2006...
What model of the C2D are you using?
Wow slow day... 230+ posts on a Banner going up news![]()
WOW! The most vote ups probably in history on this forum! Well done!!
Probably so true as well.

Somewhat off topic, but thankfully none of that is present in the mobile version. Who even cares about any of these votes? That is only because the staff here removed vote downs.
Increasing the price of the Apple TV from $99 to ~$600+ would price out a lot of consumers, especially with the Amazon Fire on the market.

Could the coloured dots represent television pixels??
!!!
Look... More banners!!! Looks like iOS8!
Or cheap.
