So my charger/radio adapter won't work while I'm using the Tomtom app?

Sheer brilliance.

"Thanks to the iPhone 3.0 accessory framework, it provides more accurate GPS, speakerphone, plays iPhone media on car stereo, and even charges it."

As long as this isn't going to cost me as much as the phone, I'm going to buy it.

Just woke up. Did they mention when the new 13" MBPs were going to be available for purchase? I still have like 6 days on my 14 day return policy. Hopefully soon!

Apple(its been a great 20+ years) and thankfully this WWDC sealed the deal that its over. The new MBP are overpriced crap.Never cared for the iPud/phone and snow leopard is just not inspiring ATM.Their incessant potshots at PC users are so tiring and getting to be nearly abusive in nature.Computers are tools that provide means to communicate, work or play not alienate which Apple seems to enjoy doing.

Adios..

lol what the heck are you talking about?

Ok. You do not need a compass in the phone or any device to determine direction.

All you need is a pair of lat/lon coordinate (say current and previous) and the time step is small in GPS systems dt=1 sec. or less. Calculate the vector between to 2 lat/lon pair and you have your direction.

Make sure the door hits you on the way out.

My goodness gracious, we are a spoiled society these days. Gadgets and devices that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars ten years ago, assuming they were available, can be bought for just a few hundred dollars now.

We've come a long way, and some folks seem to think we're still in the driveway.
