Still no flash and no front camera. Seems like I won't have to upgrade after all, which is too bad for Apple because if I think like this... more people will.

And for the rest of the hardware, still too expensive, compared with other non-Apple branded hardware. I do however like the 7 hour battery life. That's for sure.

I agree with you. At first, I wanted to upgrade but since it's too expensive I'll wait. I'm eligible for the standard upgrade in Dec but I'm thinking it'll be 6 months old by then with a new version in another 6 months or so. I think I'll sit this one out and wait to see what comes next year. Who knows, by then, maybe it'll be open to other carriers besides ATT.

Which is it? Lack of coffee? Sex? Or did you just buy your MBP a month ago? :D

I'm not the one complaining about pricing, you are. :D

A. Plenty of coffee, two cups today.
B. Just last night.
C. In October, and seeing as how it's just a little slower than the current $1999 model and has the same graphics, I don't think I have much to worry about.

Is there any chance that the iPod touch gets the hardware updates a la iPhone 3GS, or will it only get the software update?

I assume it's only a software update...

iPod touch is already faster than the iPhone 3G - its CPU is clocked higher IIRC. I predict no hardware updates until later in the year e.g. Holiday season.
