Right, so the one that I have won't work, despite the fact that GPS is on the phone. I have to buy something other than just the app to use the app.
 
Also adding "Plus Network" -- head-to-head play anytime, anywhere. The game is launching today for $5.99; 3.0 features available around when iPhone 3.0 OS is released.

3.0 wont be released today, because dude said his app will available when 3.0 comes out, but "You don't have to wait until then" meaning its a ways off.

I know Apple didn't say that it's going to launch a new iPhone today but this is getting ridiculous :D

I don't think there will be any iPhone announcement today!
 
Oh please tell me, we can plug PASCO sensors into the iPhone. That would be beautiful for field work.

Edit: Yay!! Now if other companies with more advanced sensors will also follow suit the iPhone will be an all in one field computer.

My goodness gracious, we are a spoiled society these days. Gadgets and devices that would have cost tens of thousands of dollars ten years ago, assuming they were available, can be bought for just a few hundred dollars now.

(And MS is easy to bash. They're responsible for everything they get at the hands of Apple. Apple's been bashing MS and everyone else for the past 20 years. Where've YOU been???)

Exactly. I've noticed that rumors have been getting more and more conservative, but this time it was so conservative that this keynote has blown my expectations away.

What do you expect him to say? "You can download it today using your new Iphone running 3.0 or on your G5 MacBook Pro w/ Blu Ray."
 
Apple is teasing us, I know they have something up their sleeves..:D
 
oh come on already, enough of this. every keynote is filled with 45 min of app developers. we get it already, they make apps.

It takes them about 5 minutes to say new iPhone, 20x battery life "whip out logo", 1000x processing Gigawatts "whip out another glossy logo", poke fun at the Zune HD.

I think people are forgetting this is Worldwide Developer's Conference. Not MacWorld or a specific press event.
 
I wonder if the 'one more thing' will be a healthy-looking Steve Jobs turning up with the new iPhone in his pocket.
