Want, promotion, Face ID, MagSafe, mini led, 100% preorder after the event.

Might still preorder if it has mini led and promotion. 🤔

I want them to not release. Because a bunch of software I use is not apple silicon capable yet. Lol....

I personally think both 14” and 16” will be announced without miniLED, I think that will come next year or later this year as an optional upgrade.

Or quite possibly they may pull an iPad Pro on us and just launch the 16” with miniLED.

Really hope at least the 16” has the Mini-LED, even if it ends up being a bto option I’ll gladly pay $200 more for it.

Not really sure about mini-LED but I'm pretty confident that 14" and 16" MBP will at least be announced even if actually orders don't open up until later. Apple is in a weird position with their flagship laptops being stuck on the old architecture. I don't think they can wait until the fall to publicly address that.

I’m going with one model getting released.

all the above, plus M2 in big screen iMac. 16gb/32GB memory options in M2, M2 with at least twice the graphics performance of M1. billions of TSMC transistors. No limitations, all your dreams come true, and within 2 days you'll be able to see how the performance per watt can make the purchase free if you mine Bitcoin.

And no Magsafe, just the latest USB C. Magsafe, HDMI, soooo 17 years ago....

In line with previous rumors of mini-LED production delays I'm thinking if they do announce the MBPs it probably won't include the mini-LED upgrade. Maybe the same display as last gen's model, and at a later date they will offer an upgrade to mini-LED display?

mbp 14 + 16 [Possibly Mini LED but wont hold my breath] - likley

macmini pro [with same specs as MBP] - maybe

Imac pro [with same specs as MBP] - slim chance

hopefully a monitor or 2 - wishful thinking

If all the above come out, I will be bankrupt.

I voted 14+16 without miniled. But suppose Apple keeps the case the same on the current 16, then I'm stuck with a dilemma. I'd like to get the new 16, but I would also like it to lose 100-200 grams of weight. Miniled is a very nice bonus. I don't really care about hdmi, usb-a or sd card because I'm going for a usb docking monitor. Really, all I want is a 16 that doesn't nverheat. All the rest is bonus.

Both announced, mini LED is an optional BTO or high end feature that will be available later in the year?

SoC 10 cores 8 perf+2 eff

-the performance cores are 4.35Ghz (420 KB per core (performance cores, 252 instructions + 256 data) 256 KB per core (efficient cores, 256 instructions + 128 data) with L2 (18 MB (performance cores) 8 MB (efficientcores).
-gpu cores are limited to 32 (i wonder if that saying means you can choose between 16 and 32, or its just 32 for the 16" mbp?)
So for me thats my prediction...the rest i think a lot of us already know somehow
-3tb/usb4 ports,
-magsafe (charging+ethernet)
-Hdmi 2.1
-sd card probably
-up to 4tb ssd/ 8Tb ssd
-up to 64 gb ram

Both mbps without mini led. I simply don’t care about mini-led, xdr, and high refresh rate as well, a good retina screen will do. For my use case, the only benefit of mini led would be a slight increase it may bring in battery life. But the new mbps have plenty of that. A mid-tier gpu like 16-core variant will suffice. But the most important things for me are the cpu power and the amount of ram (32gb is a must). one just can’t have those enough. so, a new cpu… I can almost feel it :)

I'm voting that there won't be hardware announcements. Too many high profile leakers/analysts/supply chain sources are absent from the "it'll be announced at WWDC" party. The only way I could see it happening is if they announced it as a preview like they did with the Mac Pro in 2013 and 2019 and the iMac Pro in 2017. Prosser says it'll happen, but Gurman and Kuo don't and they're more reliable. We have Chinese regulatory filings for the batteries, but that's not typically an indicator of an immediate release (we had the M1 MacBook Air's battery not too long after WWDC). We're not much farther off, but we're still a ways off.
