WWDC Rumors: Banner Images, Leopard Preview

They need to really shock people with this keynote, to restore our confidence after the disaster that was the last presentation.
 
Boot Camp

If Boot Camp is supposed to be one of the biggest new features, where is identification of it on the poster?
I see on the Far Left Top corner 'Universal' but not boot camp. I finf this strange.
Does that Universal Logo mean more then just PowerPC+MacIntel? Maybe Mac+PC? 'virtualization'?

The banner is current products (other than the Tiger disc) and is being waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over analysed.

Not that I want to see you naked or anything, but I really want a Conroe iMac. Been putting off the intel iMacs for 8 months waiting for this update.
 
Looks like the Mac Pro, or what ever it's going to be called, doesn't get a new design.
 
correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't this WWDC really going to Promot 'Leopard'. Which would invlove promoting the new features of Leopard?
What's the point of promoting features of Tiger.

I do think it's real. Like everyone though, I looked to identify all the icons, to see if I caught something new. Boot Camp is basically one of the biggest features that we know will be in Leopard, and basied solely off This poster... nothing mentioned about Boot Camp. I just found that interesting.

My iMac G5 is great, thanks very much...I would prefer an improved MB with better GPU and a Core 2 Duo inside...this would make me burn some Swiss Francs at once, hehehe..! :rolleyes:

I think he's referring to the "Fun, New products" event. That wasn't a disaster at all though, it was forum people predicting MacBooks, Mac Pros, new iPods blah blah blah. As predicted the Mac Mini was transitioned and the iPod got a Hi-Fi, but everyone else wanted more.
 
well aside from the obvious items for refreshing/new products:
Mac Pro (towers)
Mac Mini (a lil more there for the $$)
Macbook Pro (merom Processor + faster GPU maybe new body)
xServe (well needs Intel power)

I would LOVE to get a lil ole Apple made Airplane/Auto power adapter for the Macsafe power of portables.

Why is it taking so long for this?

Nothing new here!

I'm really looking forward to see what's happening on 10th August, even if I am not in the market for new gear, except for a new iPod.

A week to go. Nice.

Oh ya... he's something cheesie... this has been on my mind for a while. In january, Steve demoed GarageBand and showed how to make PodCast. He did that fake podcast and said 'Hi this is steve, and this is my Super secret apple PodCast' then he proceded to make jokes about the next iPod... he said the next iPod coming out would have a 10 inch screen and weigh 8 pounds.
Well... Tuesday is 8/10


Remember 2 years ago when Jobs demoed Spotlight... he searched for 'Paris' then searched for iMac. Sure enough... the iMac G5 was released at Paris.

I just thought that was interesting.

That's pretty cool. But one thing... 8/10 is Thursday, not Tuesday. And the keynote is given on Monday, the 7th.
