Dumbest? Come now. You may disagree with him and his positions on free speech, etc., but Elon Musk is anything but dumb.

Translation: People keep getting caught “liking” Nazi propaganda on TwitterX, and Elon wants to protect their “free speech”.

I live in Germany. Before here I lived in Asia. No one has EVER told me they participate in Twitter. Maybe it's not significant to them, or maybe it's become embarrassing? Who knows! Even when Twitter/Musk/X have been discussed no one has claimed to have contributed.

I think he's an arrogant jerk and not a good person, but I also am not going to make believe he's an idiot or a failure.
That isn't really a rebuttal. If you look at the panoply of things that he's accomplished, to claim he's dumb is in itself a dumb statement. There's tons of people I disagree with but very few are actually dumb or deserve to be called that.

There's been plenty of folks that have gone out of their way to "quit" Twitter, but I never claimed to be one of them. I still follow some sports reporters and weather accounts and some news reporters.
Twitter/X is sending you posts that it knows will activate you as a user, which is all it wants. To social media companies, all clicks are good clicks, even if they're on posts by bots or racists or conspiracy theorists. They want engagement, not community. Twitter/X stopped being an online "town square" long ago because they decided that lots of engagement of any type surrounding crypto ads was a better business model than "let's let people talk to one another."
I wish we could just skip right to "X goes paid subscriber only" and get it over with

Given the advances to society Musk's influenced, that history will see looking back - he's probably a much better person that most of us combined.
I don't believe saying the right things and riding the current cultural waves makes anyone a good person and that's what most people seem to think is enough these days.
Musk treats his friends and family just as well as most 'good,' 'salt of the earth' types do.
