I've been watching istocknow and also set up an e-mail alert. The past 2 days I've been basically manually refreshing their site just out of curiosity every half hour or hour and there has literally not been one single listing for any iPhone X 256 GB either color anywhere in Texas whatsoever at any single point over the past couple of days.

Texas is tricky. I have noticed that they rarely have much in the way of stock. I wonder if they aren't selling as many there as they are in some other areas with higher populations? There has to be an algorithm of some sort. I mean, the odds that people are in longer lines outside of stores in Texas than in other areas are low. That sucks. I figure they'll have something soon, though. Did you do a preorder that you're waiting on right now?

Everyday I’ve been checking online and nothing for in store. Using istocknow also shows nothing in stock. Hopefully the alerts comes soon for me to purchase. =(

Where are you in California and what model? I have noticed that CA doesn't seem to have any T-Mobile, so that's not just you. It is just nonexistent. Of course, if you are paying cash, hitting your local stores in the AM (if your schedule permits) might snag you a phone, since you can buy whatever they have in stock and it'll work on Tmob.

Or, maybe you’d have gotten that email and just ordered it 10 minutes later. Most shoppers are not furiously refreshing the Apple store, scouring for phones. ;)

That’s more of a MR member thing. :D
Nope I got an e-mail from istocknow.com 10 minutes after I have place the order for pick up and I took the last one. Not the other way around. After I placed the order the status on apple.com changed to currently unavailable for pick up. I know I took the last one because when I got there at Store opening the Apple employee straight out said no Verizon or spring for walk ins.

I'm in Dallas and I mean.. it's not exactly London or New York.. but DFW is the fourth most populous metro area in the country. The Houston metro area is right behind us at fifth. Two of the top five most populous metro areas in the entire country - so, low population definitely shouldn't be a consideration in the stock levels.

I have noticed in the past 20-30 minutes that Houston, Austin, and SA areas have gotten a few. But still none in Dallas. Ugh. Yes I did order online and my current delivery estimate is 12/1 - 12/8. Figured if I could get one locally I'll cancel my online order.

I was wondering how the iPhone X true availability is this year.
I never pre-order and always walk away with the latest phone the first weekend. Never waited a minute in a line since the 3GS.

It was no different for the X.
I had to drive to an Apple store that wasn't exactly close but I was able to get the model I wanted the day after release (Saturday).

Now the iPhone 7 Plus was a different story, that took me 3 or 4 weeks and I think I fluked into a Jet Black version because a guy at Target called me up when I put my name in.

not sure istocknow is even remotely reliable.

It is showing stores with stock, I check those stores via apple.com and they don't have stock.

Anyone know what time of day do apple stores typically get their shipments in? Is it overnight, or during the day?

Its like 10-11 and 2-5

Anyone have any luck with T-Mobile iPhones? Not a single one has shown up in stock in Oregon since Saturday for a brief moment and rarely show up across the US according to Istocknow

Here in MA, I saw the T-Mobile iPhones available Saturday morning but they were gone in the afternoon and nothing available since then.

For those that are able to get a phone and pickup in store, how long do they hold it for?

Same here. I didn't really plan on getting one until 2018. But when they turned out to be in stock on Saturday, I figured I'd go ahead and track it to see if anymore where available. But it seemed like the scattered shipments today were to a lot of smaller towns. I didn't see anything available in DFW.

I'll track it for another day or two. If I don't see one then, I'll just wait until supplies catch up.

Lots of stock hitting tonight. It seems to be showing updates from east the west. There were lots of green locations east of the Mississippi about an hour ago. Now a lot of central time zones are flipping green.

They are moving quickly though. I lot of the east coast units have already been snagged up.

Sometimes, it’s IUP stock. So, it’ll light up green, but unless you’re in the Apple Upgrade program, you cannot reserve it.

Chicagoland area - Stock is showing for Verizon and AT&T X, both colors and sizes! Right now!

Many LA locations have stock for pick up for tomorrow as of 11:30! Snagged a 256 Silver AT&T to compare displays with vs. my original. Hope this one is better!

Hey guys I was going to order from Apple but need to pay the 65 to bring my plan to the 50% mark. If I pay through Verizon.com how long does it take to process and show my eligibility

Was your original damaged?

Not damaged. However, the display is not uniform, meaning it has a pinkish area on the right side when viewing even at a perfect angle. No more left it seems, that model went quick. There's still some Space Grey and 64GB silvers

Too bad Apple requires you to enter Verizon account details to reserve one. Don’t know how I can do that since I don’t have a Verizon line. :(

Lol we got people snagging models to compare against the phones they already own...hahahahaha!!!

This is going to go on for weeks, either way as of 6:30am east coast time Apple showing no stock of the space gray x and only some left over sprint versions.

I just tried this and its not straight forward if the verizon friend already has an iphone device and plan from verizon. The phone comes preactivated with the existing number of verizon account. The moment the iphone is turned on it registers the new iphone and disables the existing one of your friend. I'm not comfortable doing this nor would my friend like it if it has a risk of his number getting deactivated.
