You got to be kidding.
It appears Dagless agress with me:
Same here. But I don't there has been a bad X-Men movie yet. Each one has its merits and I enjoyed all of them for different reasons.
My reasons for 3: A tiny bit less emphasis on Wolverine. As cool as Wolvie is, and as well as Hugh Jackman portrays him, there are plenty of other mutants to develop, and develop they do. The Pyro/Iceman conflict comes to a head, Kitty Pride gets a good solo fight, and Storm finally gets to kick major ass after being largely ignored in X2. Angel's angst that initially drives him to self-mutilation is somewhat realistically portrayed, given the circumstances (the resolution of that was a bit cheezy, admittedly).
One minor negative in 3: The virtual non-use of Psylocke, even though she's in the movie, according to the credits. (She's the short one of the Omega trio, not Quill the porcupine guy or Arclight with the shockwave handclap.) Oh well, sometimes liberties have to be taken, I guess.
Also like Dagless, I've liked all of them so far. Nightcrawler totally made X2 worthwhile.
Emma Frost was the worst. Entire movie all she did was get up, turn on diamond mode and/or say one useless line. Rinse repeat.
Agreed. She was better used in the Generation X TV movie-- and trust me, that's not saying much.
