Just applied mine to the back. After applying and letting dry 15 minutes, I noticed a small hair so I pulled the protector back about half way then removed the hair then reapplied that half. I however, am seeing very slight discoloration. Is that because it hasn't dried enough yet? Will that go away after a night of sitting? Or am I best to pull the whole thing off and reapply?

Never mind, answered my own question. Looks perfect now. All you see is the plastic imperfections. Rather see that then a big scratch though.

I'm gonna leave the front side naked I decided for 2 reasons. 1. I like the naked feel as is doesn't feel grippy and 2. I never had a screen protector on the IP4 for 2 years and never had a scratch. Not to mention this is gorilla glass 2 vs whatever the IP4 had.

Can anyone post pics of the applied back (maybe even right after application and then after curing)?

Here are a couple of ours.

How are you guys making your solution? The instructions are kind of vague and say to apply it to the entire protector, but I obviously don't submerge it all.

Cup of soapy water, rub your fingers in it and touch the screen protector so it doesnt stick. Pretty easy :)

I put 1 cup tap water in a bowl and some Dawn dish soap. Not much, just a little bit. I then washed my hands and mixed the water and dish soap with my fingers.

I wet all my fingertips with the solution, popped out the cutouts, peeled the protector from the film, held the protector in one hand while splashing the solution onto the protector. Again, not much but just enough to make it wet. Then put the protector on the phone making sure you keep the water away from any opening (camera area, earpiece, and button) when positioning it exactly perfect. Then use the squeegee to remove all water from underneath the protector using a paper towel on the sides to instantly soak up the water. Then use the microfiber cloth they give you to go over everything.

Once you begin squeegeeing it doesn't take long before you can't move the protector so be careful to potion right while still wet.

Is this one of those sticky protectors like zagg's old stuff or is it more of a plastic protector that feels smoother like the glass screen? I'm assuming sticky since its a wet applicant but i'd rather ask just incase so i don't pass up if its a good deal.

It is somewhere in between a Zagg original and a Zagg HD film. Not as smooth as one of the real thin static type protectors, but not as sticky and rubbery as an original Zagg.

To me it was to rubbery feeling for the front but, is great for the back to prevent scratches on the aluminum.

Has anyone done a thorough review of these yet? My main questions are:

Does it feel like there's a screen protector on the device when in use?
Can you notice one is on the phone when viewing an all white or all black screen?
How is impact protection? (Dropping on a small, small rock)
Is anyone noticing any signs of discoloration after a week or so of using it?

for the price....these are better than zagg and easy to put on about to stock up!

I just applied a back on my friend's black ip5..
he complaint there are a lot of squeegee marks on the protector after it dries.
can any ip5 black user conifrm this?
i applied on a white ip5 be4m but cant see the marks cuz its white.

These look interesting for the price. Is the back cut-out as awful as the bodyguardz cut-out? Some of the pictures look really good and others it looks like they backs are too small.

I got 2 and the backs on both are smaller like you see on those pics. The glass areas on top and bottom are ok but it gets narrower on the aluminum part (intentionally?). However I still consider this a very good cut-out as I have had ones that are larger than the device itself and those were awful and prone to peeling off.

I got mine today... just using the back one(have zagg hd on front)... it fits perfectly but why is it sticky??? i put my phone and earpod case in the same pocket.. and they stick...
