I know this but s nothing new when it comes to iPhones but curious to see who is happy with their screens
Unfortunately mine has a yellow going across the top, my 6s is very uniform.

Mine was a little yellow on the top, had the sleep button rattle and had w defect under the screen that looked like a scratch. I've never had a phone with that much wrong right out of the box. I love the size and feel, but I expect as close to perfection as possible, even if it's a little less expensive than the 6S.

My phone has that same little thing at the top. Once you start using the phone you can't even notice.

If the rest of the phone is good o wouldn't play the exchange game.

That's supremely disappointing. I had a 5 I bought second hand off craigslist with that and just dealt since it was a beat up interim device before getting the 6, after going 5 to nexus 5 for a change of pace. Lusted for 5 again once iOS 7 jailbreak came out hehe

They don't care about display quality it's sad

My 5s is yellow as hell too at the top in particular (luckily not mine it's company's)

Same with 6s/6s plus accumulating dust in upper left on toP of other screen tint issues multi tinted displays etc

That's funny, mine looks the exact same. Across the top is yellow but especially on the top right corner and looks strange compared to the rest of the screen. I planned on taking it back and buying a new one but it seems like all the stores are out of stock until the 21st

Oh well... #1stWorldProblemsAmIRight? :p

Mine's got the same band across the very top of the screen. I'm guessing if the yellow is always in the same place, it has more to do with design than the randomness seen on iPads.

I'm happy not to have a yellow screen, that was my major concern.

Haven't people previously said that it might have something to do with glue still setting on the displays? Mine seems to be fine, anyway :)

The screen of my iPhone SE is COMPLETELY yellow, it's ridiculous. iPhone 4 on the left, both at ~ 50% screen brightness. Night Shift on the SE is OFF.

Opinions?

Of course there is. Same s*** screen supplier. My 5s has yellow top, with a s****y vertical scan line 5s before this.

But for $400..... Remember that. You get what you pay for apparently with Apple. Who cares about the cheapos out there!
[doublepost=1459529327][/doublepost]But don't return for the screen if everything else works well. You may get colicky home button, rattling power button, terrible vertical scan lines screen door effect....... Just think that you will probably get another phone with a different issue. 5s (and now SE) is not a great phone if you're looking for attention to detail.

Yeah, I'm having a pretty hard time adjusting coming from the 6s :(

Normally I'm pretty good when I get a new phone and not comparing it so my brain can adjust, but the size difference + yellow colored screen is making it difficult.

I can see some very slight yellow at the very top but it's hardly noticeable unless your looking for it and on a white page. It's not enough to warrant a return.

I have noticed coming from a 6s is that the 6s has a brighter screen I usually had it at 50% or less and it was bright enough but for the SE I need to put it at about 70% to get it to look the same as th 6s.

Mine is yellow in the same place. Top right. Mind you my wife's 5 is the same.

Oh and loose home button too. You get what you pay for it seems.

That sounds exactly like mine.

People who can avoid the yellow up top, what about when browsing and using the phone in landscape mode?

That's too bad about the yellow screen, or any manufacturing issue. Probably a defect (or defects), but you know how these forums work... Everyone expects that every product ever to be (mass) produced is 100% defect free, which is unreasonable. That said, it's a downer when I get a defective product... But that's what a warranty is for.

Apple are too stubborn when it comes to screen technology. They need to introduce something new. The amount of ipads i've had to return due to poor screens is beyond a joke
