Yoobao Executive Leather Case more colorful than before lol... 8 colors now waa...

It's not a yoobao issue only, any casing over the glass edge can trap and grind into the glass. Of course, not an issue if you use screen protectors. I used one on my iPad 1, but decided to let my ipad2 go glass bare and it developed numerous light scratches.
Yoobao does make cases with corner clips instead of flaps over the glass. I use the ICarer that has minimal corner clips. Aesthetically more appealing than flaps over the edges IMO.

The fit is fine as the case has a little bit of "give" in it. As for the magnet issue/smart cover, according to this site there is a version for the new ipad coming at the end of march. Its in the first few lines of the description bit

Oh,yes. Yoobao does make cases with corner clips. but the case is not real leather case.
 
Hi Lauren, I'm getting my 4g 32 next week, ordered today online (no tax). I like the icarer; design, slim fit, nice leather grain texture & red color, rubber trim.
--BUT the tongue strap, first it went limp from use (ouch) and was hard to push into the leather latch on back when open, and then the tongue's limp crease started tearing. A magnetic closure and a simple notch back latch would be perfect. its been good otherwise, got it mispriced on ebay for $15 months ago.
the hunt does go on for 3. I want slim, leatherish, full protection, and no glass coverage, if u know what I mean.
you can find it!!
did you get a 3?

Hi guy!But of course I got a 3!😀 That's the reason for my new Case Hunt. Would you believe that the red Yoobao i had from last year is still perfect?! I am using it until my new case arrives. I have ordered the Joy Factory SmartSuit3, (black), but will still get another Yoobao folio for travelling again.

You will SO love this Retina display!!!
 
just pre ordered the coffee have the black being shipped Monday, i see there are rose, yellow orange available for pre order now but not the purple yet

I was just checking the new colors,because now they have all the pics up. I think i like the Coffee too. I'm trying to make up my mind between that and the Chinao wheat case. I ordered both of these last year, and honestly, these are the cases I use the most. After a year of use, they still looked great, but I am giving them to the person who's getting my iPad 2.🙂

I'll also have a case with a clip-on rear shell, but it does not provide enough protection when I am out and about, or travelling. I really need that corner/bezel protection.I also love how stable the Yoobao case is when I am watching movies on a plane. Even when it's jiggled a bit, it remains upright.

yup the coffee will go with my coffee but i cant see myself having an orange with the orange, but i think i might give the wiffy the rose instead of a rose. make sense?? lol
 
I was wondering if we'd see another round of blatant-yet-somehow-allowed-to-continue spamming from these guys.

Face it, they're cheap knock off cases. For some reason every year we get massive threads about them. Can't figure it out.
 
Your right $30+ is cheap for a case, and whenit comes down to all cases are knock offs just different prices and materials. I take it you don't like the case so maybe you should find a thread more to your liking? Yoobao is a good bang for the buck nothing special

you may want to check your shipping notification, i recieved notice yesterday stating mmy order has shipped however it says a ship date of Monday. I emailed him and he said he was pre printing shipping labels due to the amount of pre orders to ensure that he could get them all out monday when they arrive
 
Not thrilled with mine. The magnets do work (and it is the ipad 2 version), but it's unstable when standing upright for viewing movies, and the leather that holds the cover back is already weak. I miss my ipad 1 Apple cover. This design was similar, so hoped it would be as good, but in leather. No dice. The front cover also is cut strange so doesn't quite fit right. I am continuing to look for another case design. Looks nice though.
 
I'll be curious to hear some more reviews. I'm not sure from the pics just how much protection it has on the backside. The executive Yoobao case for my iPad 1 is about perfect to me in terms of protection without being too crazy thick, that I can just flip the cover over for the typing position, and that the case front would stay down with magenets.

Can we get a review and some flicks of the new Executive iPad 3 version when you guys get yours? Are they finally going out?

I am thinking of purchasing one. I like these because you can (hopefully) use a full body skin with them, as I understand dirt can get between the case and scratch. I always use a skin for the added protection anyway though so this slide inside pouch style suits me. I also like how they are very slim and of course the leather is great.
