Yoobao leather iPad case (OP updated with all revisions)

I don't have any other cases to compare it to, but yes- overall I'm very happy with it.
I've noticed the smell but it's not bad as such just "different".
Pros:
* Sturdy multiple viewing angles
* iPad isn't going anywhere when slid in
* Generally good quality for the price
* Should add good protection
* Got delivered next day!
Cons:
* Portait mode is fairly crap, but you can fold the flap most of the way back to hold when reading (haven't tried this at any length yet.
* Weighs 300g, so ~130g more than the apple case, might not be a negative but worth noting. Bringing the inhand weight up to around 1.05kg
* The clip to close the lid is a bit stiff to close, also where the material meets the fake leather is a bit sloppy (could be an issue long term)
Would I recommend it? Based on my limited knowledge/hands-on with iPad cases.... yes.

I wouldn't qualify that as "keep bringing it back up".
Just ordered the Yoobao case off of Ebay (Magic Case v. 4) for my day old iPad.

Can it prop up in to a landscape stand without have the excess leather on the table?
I received an email this afternoon, my Yoobao slim case is shipping...looks like from China.
So might take a while. Prepare yourself for a rubbish envelop from China with stinky product inside! ;-)

Might be getting an order from me in a few days. I've been debating which case to get and now i'm heavily leaning towards that one.

is this what are you referring? i never turned mine like apple case on landscape. this is much better

Sturdiness is indeed a good point. Any opinion from the users?
You can do it as above which is ok, not quite as stable or you can do it similar to most of the other cases around, as below:
I have plenty of these too,,, in the storage shed,,, the smell keeps the mice away
I wouldn't rely too much on this judgement, everyone is experiencing smells for a few hours but not more apparently. Right?

Could somebody that has a V3 please comment on the smell issue (if there is an issue). Does it smell of of the box, if so how long? Looks like a good case, but kevikevdottcom keeps talking about the smell and that makes me worried (since he's the one selling them)...
