Too bad PS had to throw out the first batch of cases due to poor workmanship......

Next batch in a couple weeks.

I bit the bullet and bought the v4 and it came today. It is pretty decent. I am still worried about the tabs, but this will hold me until i get a better one. I still want a real leather case with good protection, but this will do for a while.

Finally receive my V3 today, fantastic design, love the multi viewing angle, and not a bad price in UK as well. (Compare to the incase one sell in UK, and is much less bulky:apple:)

No manufacturer package as the seller say damage during the transportation, but the seller ship with Jiffy postal bag.

Ordered from the official UK seller. (Reserved one after buying the V2 from them):D

Some pictures for you guys!

Where would you order that in the US?

Has anyone had both the V3/4 (not sure which it's called) and the slim case? From what I understand the V3/4 is not leather while the slim is. I would appreciate any coments from someone who has used both. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I just purchased a Yoobao v3 case from one of the ebay seller in canada.

The case came in and to my surprise, the top/right side boarder of the case interior (the trim that holds the ipad) are stretched upwards (instead of flat).

Has anyone encounter such issue? I am putting pressure onto the case right now, hopefully it will lay down flat in a few days.

Any advice or comments are greatly appreciated.

I must say that kevikevdotcom (ebay seller) is awesome. I received both the Yoobao and the Chinao cases quickly (The Chinao just arrived today).

I would definitely buy from him again.

I haven't really had the chance to compare the two cases, but I wanted to chime in here for anybody on the fence as to whether or not to buy from him.

He is also very honest...refunded me $$$$ after he lowered the price AFTER my sale.

Highly recommended seller.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience. I'm torn between the two models and would like to purchase one of them today or tomorrow. Could you give us your impressions between the two?

also, how long did it take to get to you from when you bought them?

thanks!

I am syncing my new iPad right now. (I'm a little obsessive and wanted to wait to "unbox" until I got both cases. I bought the iPad last week, and then exchanged it for the 64GB 3G on Sunday. Been busy with work.)

Just looked up the date I bought the Chinao...August 7th...
The date I bought the the Yoobao...August 6th...Received it on Monday, the 9th.)

I will let you know what I think.

Right now, without having used either, I am leaning towards the Yoobao, because of the grooves that help it stand up.

The Chinao appears thinneer.

On my way to the gym after the iPad finishes syncing...and then I will check out the cases more in depth.

Yep. the edge of the screen is not cover any more...

four concer is perfectly fit!

the belt ensure the case locked firmly when it is closed or set to stand

Just bot 1 :D

EDIT: Anyone interested in the PS case, I'll be canceling my order so one should free up.

So far, I'm really rockin' the Yoobao...I like the way the iPad fits better. I am in the process of running down the battery, and when that's done, I will be transferring it to the Chinao to see how I like that.

the Magic Case is not real leather as well, and that is what hes comparing to the CHINAO.
Yes the the Slim Case is made from real pig skin leather...

Whether or not these are made of real leather is really not an issue to me...I want something functional, light and relatively protective of my iPad.

So, now I have the Yoobao Magic Case v4, the Chinao, the Apple Case and the Cyber Acoustics case is on its way....I have to stop buying cases.

The Apple Case is going back (unopened) unless somebody talks me out of it for some reason.

I really prefer the Yoobao because of the way the iPad fits in to the corner brackets and the side clips.

@Built,

Please let us know your thoughts once you spend some time with the Cyber Acoustics case. I'm interested in cases that do not cover the edges of the glass. I'm not sure how important the "tilting" feature of the Yoobao Magic Case v4 is to me. I usually just hold my iPad or rest it on my chest. I don't tend to use the iPad with it sitting on a desk, counter, etc.

Fit to the screen

I love my Yoobao case. I have V2 Type A. My only complaint is that the leather around the screen sticks out considerably more than I'd like. Is there a good way to tighten this up a bit so it fits more snugly to the screen?

I don't know much about leather, but it can contract or shrink under certain circumstances, right?

actually it is much ligher compare to other genuine leather case...

I just weigh it by my kitchen gram scale, it is about 280g which equal less than 10 Ounces..

i guess its due to me not using any case for the past week. lol

Has anyone used these and an Incase Convertible Book Case? While I love the protection the Incase one provides and don't mind the bulk, I'm not too keen on how it has trouble keeping the iPad in place or up when in one of the grooves. I just want something that will keep the screen safe in my bag, and something I can prop up to type on or watch things without worrying about it sliding out of place or falling out of the groove. Thanks.

Thinking of getting that V4 one from kevikevdottcom since he's only like a half hour away from here.
