You drop, it breaks

I know why the screen stopped working - they took it apart and the connection came undone with the first drop.

As for the cracking, they dropped it about as many times as people drop an iPhone. I dropped my 3G maybe twice.

The only bad Thing is, if you drop your phone, both sides might crack, at least with the plastic on my 3G when I dropped it, the plastic mostly absorbed most of the impact and only left scratches.

In the past when i first got my iphone 3g and did not have the otterbox case on it, i dropped it numerous times getting out of my truck. id have it sitting on my lap and get out and there it went! straight on the concrete. if i had to guess a 5 foot fall easily and never an issue, break or scratch! With alot of these vairous reports going around about issues with the iphone 4, im starting to wonder if i need to just wait??!!

I don't get all the negative responses. People are always asking to see drop/scratch tests, but when someone actually posts one, they get mocked.

Anyway, this just means that I'll be getting a case.

would like to see test done within a span of a couple months to a year. considering no one would drop their phone 4-5 times in a row. I could be wrong though...

In the video they drop the new i4 3 times before the phone breaks. I wouldn’t start screaming “3 drops?!?!?!? THATS IT?!?!?!” these drops were on asphalt and were all 4ft and above. Thats pretty damn durable
