From iFixYouri: Tests reveal that repeatedly dropping an iPhone 4 on concrete will actually crack the screen and render the device unusable. (Caution: Difficult to watch video.)

Hmmmm... can they try the following to see if doing that repeatedly renders that device useless.

Holy butterflies Batman!!!!! if you run in front of a speeding truck you will die!!!!

Really did they need to state something as obvious as this:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I know why the screen stopped working - they took it apart and the connection came undone with the first drop.

As for the cracking, they dropped it about as many times as people drop an iPhone. I dropped my 3G maybe twice.

Wow! I am shocked! Can someone please see if you can drop it in the toilet and flush it without any serious damage?

The only bad Thing is, if you drop your phone, both sides might crack, at least with the plastic on my 3G when I dropped it, the plastic mostly absorbed most of the impact and only left scratches.

would like to see it being dropped with a bumper on it

4 tries naked, maybe a bumper would make it like 10-15 tries?

In the past when i first got my iphone 3g and did not have the otterbox case on it, i dropped it numerous times getting out of my truck. id have it sitting on my lap and get out and there it went! straight on the concrete. if i had to guess a 5 foot fall easily and never an issue, break or scratch! With alot of these vairous reports going around about issues with the iphone 4, im starting to wonder if i need to just wait??!!

I don't get all the negative responses. People are always asking to see drop/scratch tests, but when someone actually posts one, they get mocked.

Anyway, this just means that I'll be getting a case. :)

would like to see test done within a span of a couple months to a year. considering no one would drop their phone 4-5 times in a row. I could be wrong though...

also, before I get jumped on...yes I know anything can be broken.

Take a quote from my site:
In the video they drop the new i4 3 times before the phone breaks. I wouldn’t start screaming “3 drops?!?!?!? THATS IT?!?!?!” these drops were on asphalt and were all 4ft and above. Thats pretty damn durable
I'd love to argue thats a durable ass phone.
