do you get flash problems with them case? i hear that the cut out for the flash on some case dont get a good flash spread out..like it will reflect on the case..

With most of the cases I have pictured, there are no flash related issues at all. There are issues with the two Speck CandyShells in my pic, but Speck is currently working on getting a revised version out of those cases. But they are dragging their feet in doing so. But the rest are all ok.

If you want a case that will still show off the design of the iPhone, go to Wal-Mart and see if they have the Incipio NGP Matte in what Incipio calls "Translucent Mercury". Apparently Wal-Mart is the only one that has this version of the NGP, as it's not even available straight through Incipio on their website. It's basically a smoke gray color, but is somewhat transparent, and still allows the back of the phone and silver sides to show through the case. And it's not a glossy finish, either. It's a nice matte finish that feels a lot like the Speck Geometric or PixelSkin HD. So it'd still have some decent drop protection, and is as slim as the two Specks. It's the gray Incipio in my pic.

Added: to be precise, it's the bottom left case in my pic. Click on it in my original link to see a larger rez photo of the cases. I edited the original post to link to the bigger photo.

Thanks I'll have to check that one out!:D

Hell, here are some shots of it installed. I'm sitting at my desk doing some work, so I took a little break!

;)

Wow I like that one! See thru but not clear as I do hate clear ones! Definetly going to Walmart!!

Thought you might! :D That's why I went ahead and took the pics. It's a great case too. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't recommend it right beside the Geometric and PixelSkin HD, as it's VERY similar in build quality. And, it shows off a bit of the phone. I'm not real sure why Wal-Mart so far seems to be the exclusive retailer of this particular model. It's even a little different than the NGP Mattes that Incipio sells on their own site. The logo is in a different location, and the buttons feel a lot better when pressing them. I have the Incipio NGP Matte black straight from Incipio to compare to, and I know that the Wal-Mart version is legit, as Incipio has replaced a Wal-Mart purchased one for me because the bottom piece below the home button got stretched out. So Incipio has them in stock, but only Wal-Mart sells them. Weird.

I just bought this case a couple nights ago at Walmart for 19.98 or something like that. I love it. I had gotten a black version of it at Microcenter nearby for 25 bucks, and then saw this at wally world and took the all black one back to Microcenter. Picked up the cheaper one at walmart and now I'm happy until my in case snap smoke case arrives from apple

I'll pass on the Incipio. The thickness which covers the sides and front of the iPhone screen is a turn-off. It reminds me of many of the cases I had for the 3GS. The sleek lines if the iPhone 4 have spoiled me somewhat and I personally don't think that cases that used to be fine on the 3GS do the iPhone 4 justice. I prefer a minimal amount of "lip".

if you don't have a vapor case, then you don't have nothing worth mentioning.

I had a Vapor and sold it the very same
day I received it. The only thing worth mentioning about it was the crappy radio reception and it didn't fit with 3rd party accessories.

Well, yes, if you don't mind the problems people are having with the company, some loss in sound quality, the cost, the huge logo, reception problems, oh, and the problems with the company :)

Already had and sold the piece of crap. Would have returned it straight to Element, but dealing with them is like a bad nightmare. So I sold it on eBay for a healthy profit. People on there are paying $200-$300 for the damn things!

How does the NGP compare to the Pixelskin HD as far as bulk, thickness and weight? Is the NGP noticeably bulkier, thicker and heavier? Are they about the same?

The sides and the lip around the screen are slightly thicker, but not a lot. The back is pretty much the same thickness as the Speck cases. It's still very slim and fits in my tight fitting Waterfield leather sleeve just the same as the Specks do. I like the slightly more raised lip as it provides more lay on the table safety than some other cases do.

I've got a few higher end watches, but yes, that will take a huge chunk of your money quickly. But at least with that, you have something you can sell at a later date for probably more than you have invested in them. These cases are money lost basically.

Actually I lost $ because I would buy/trade a lot. I was sick  I currently have a U-Boat Flight Deck in Red I wear all the time and what's left in the collection is just a Graham Chronofighter and Panerai.

Nice! I've seen that U-Boat in all black and I really liked it. I'd imagine the red looks great too. I'd have gotten the black, but like I said, I've got too many watches now, and forking out $3500 on another just wasn't something I wanted to do (yeah...coming from the idiot that has $700 in damn iPhone cases, I know that sounds stupid!).

Here's my collection:

(From top; left to right) White Bumper, Blue Bumper, Black Bumper, Green Bumper, Speck Fitted, Speck PixelSkin HD, IvySkin Reception, eighteen eBay cases, BoxWave ColorSplash, & my Grove Birdland Bamboo case is in the middle. I'm still waiting on my Incase Snap from Apple to get here. :p

And here I sit, unable to decide about even 1 case! : ) Which is your favorite, makefunnyfaces?

I had a feeling you might say that since I passed on that one for the free case program. My spouse is getting quite a kick out of the fact that I ordered the phone 5 minutes after I could on my AT&T contract, but I'm debating for weeks on a case!
