One of the great things about the Apple Watch is that you can switch out the Watch's bands to better suit what you're doing. Going out to a nice dinner? Slide in the Link or Milanese. Casual day at work? Slide in your Leather Loop Band.

Did anyone else order a whole set of bands so you're able to constantly change your Apple Watch's look and feel?

Personally, I kinda went all out and purchased each type of Apple Watch Band.

My Collection that I ordered:
42mm Silver Stainless Steal Apple Watch
-Link Bracelet
-Milanese Loop
-Light Brown Leather Loop
-Classic Leather Buckle
-White Sport Band

Apple Watch with Milanese is shipping 4/24, Link and Leather Loop shipping 4/29, Sport and Classic Buckle ship in May.

Wow, I hope you like the watch. :p I just got the stainless with the sport band because of availability issues and because I can't see the bands in person. But I'm also waiting to see what third party bands will be like. Should be a lot of cool stuff coming out.

I'm looking to pair my Sport SG 42mm with the black leather loop. From the pictures I've seen this should make for a sharp combo.

My "Collection" in 42mm

- Apple Watch Classic Leather (Only one available for launch day window when I finally got the site loaded
- White Sports Band
- Black Sports Band
- Link Band

I was originally going to get the Milanase as well, but after trying it on in person I was honestly not a fan. I can see it's value though.

Going back and forth on getting the Sandstone Leather Loop as well.

Being a former watch guy, I love the fact that I was able to pick up all of this, plus I was able to get my wife the 38mm with Milanese Band, and Modern Loop, and Sports band for a couple hundred bucks more then I would have spent on a single watch about 8 years ago.

Loving the fact that I can just swap out the bands, and adjust the link bracelet myself. Getting links removed from a stainless steel twice from a professional costs about as much as getting the Milanese loop.

Sports band will outsell all of them. There is a lot of value in the Stainless Steel if you are into that kind of thing

38mm Stainless with White Sport Band, Link Bracelet, and probably Modern Buckle if they ever go up for sale separately. Active, everyday, and dressy respectively.

I'll also be putting together a little custom job with the Click M adapter and a replica of the James Bond (not-really-)NATO strap from the movies worn when diving to keep the Rolex from falling off :) That will be worn to SPECTRE on opening night. Looking forward to that. Hopefully I won't botch the nylon work.

I preordered the 42mm Stainless Steel with Link band. At some point I'll also be ordering the white sports band, but I feel that I have plenty of time to do that before my watch gets here. I'd like a leather band as well, but wasn't happy with the offerings from Apple. I'll be looking for something in Natural Chromexcel leather.

I got the SS with classic buckle for daily wear - it should work in formal or less formal settings. I also got a blue sport band for when I'm playing sport :)

I've ordered the white sports band for sweaty exercise and weekends, the Milanese for every day wear, and will be ordering a leather band -- perhaps the blue Modern Buckle -- to wear with a dress occasionally.

love this thread .

my collection ordered IS...

ss 42 with classic black leather
white sport band
Milanese amazon version for 75 bucks (which I'll return if it sucks - and then give apple the 150)

Want midnight blue and oxblood leather bands as well.

I went for the 42 milanese loop, but I also bought a white sports strap for the gym.

I did really like the link, but I think I will be waiting before purchasing.

Ordered 42MM SG with black band, also getting a white sport band. I'd really like a blue leather loop but I'm making myself hold back for now. I wanted a Milanese but I'm not sure that it matches with the space grey. After seeing the watches in person now I know why the stainless steel is so much more versatile, that'll be the next watch down the line

42mm Space Grey Aluminium
42mm Stainless Steel
Milanese Loop
Black Sports Band

Potentially buy a leather loop later on, but heard bad reviews and haven't seen one in person so far.

Same Milanese loop I bought, here's to it not sucking! Haha

SS 42MM Milanese Loop
Black Sports Band

Really loved the leather loop when I went in for my try on. Contemplating getting it.

38mm SS.

-link band
-classic buckle
-sport band

I did not think I would like the link or the sport, but once I tried them on, I had to have them :)

38mm Stainless with Mianese is on order

Will be ordering black and green sport

Possible black modern buckle

42 SS Link
Sports Band (white) for exercise

Eventually I want the milanese loop as it was really comfortable.

Aside from that I am very interested to see what some 3rd parties come up with. I'd like to see a leather band with a quick release clasp like Panerai and Omega use on some watches. I was really disappointed that the Apple one is kinda ugly and only comes in the small size.

My Collection that I ordered:
42mm Aluminum Space Grey Apple Watch Sport
-Black Sport Band (Included)
-Milanese Loop
-Nomad Space Grey Stand
-Spigen Tough Armor Gunmetal Apple Watch Case

Probably pick up the blue leather band at some point as well.
