Thanks that is very helpful. the "change remaining" did change even it says fully charged.
The charge remaining will fluctuate continuously, based on the minute-to-minute workload and power demands of your computer. It is not accurate.

my battery count is less than 500, and the health is below 50%, can I bring the laptop into the store and ask for a replacement ? Will they charge me or will it be free? my laptop is Mid-oct 13" macbook Pro, bought back in 2010.

Wouldn't think so, batteries decline with age too and a 5yr-old battery is well into its normal lifespan. You can ask but I'd expect a decline.

Apple only guarantees the battery to 1000 cycles within the 3 year warranty window. There is a good reason for this and that is that age is a far more potent destroyer of batteries than using them.

They are a consumable item and only last on average 4-5 years no matter how you use them. You will have to pay for a replacement. See below for all you battery questions...
