I can say without a doubt that my favorite show is 24! Just amazing!

Other than that, of the shows still on the air (not only reruns):

The 4400
The Shield
Prison Break

Honorable mentions:

Dr. Who
Stargate: SG-1

And finally.... not on the air anymore, but is one of the best shows ever made:

Firefly

Ah excellent, always nice to see another fan of the series! If you ever want to check it out, here's the official thread.

I assume you've seen Serenity as well? Very cool movie.

I've actually just started watching it, and it is indeed a great show. I've probably seen about half of the first season so far, and will be catching up on the rest soon. I'm kinda depressed to know that this Doctor is gone after this season though, he's such a cool guy... :(

H**L YES! This is one of the coolest movies I've seen. I'm pretty obsessed with the Firefly universe in general, and I thought they did a great job with the movie. Very glad to see they brought all the crew back, especially Morena Baccarin. And to see River kicking a** like she did.....

Always nice to see new fans of the show! Oh, and by "the first season" I assume you realize it's actually Season 27? ;) :D Scary thing is, I have all of Seasons 1-28 myself - it's quite the collection!

I was a bit sad to see the Doctor go as well after only one season, but I feel his replacement makes up for it - but you'll have to form your own opinion...

Enjoy watching, it's a great series!

That IS quite a collection! I assume your torrent client worked overtime on that one. :D Have you watched through every episode from all those seasons?

I read up on the show after I found myself getting into it and found out it had been around for a lonnnng time. Way longer than I thought. I still refer to it as season 1 since the dvd set is labeled as "The Complete First Series", even though that's far from the truth. :D

Thanks, I shall! :)

180+ GB, baby...

And no, I haven't watched quite all of them, but I'd venture 90-95% of them. Yeah, I know, I need help... ;)

But as I said in my previous post, feel free to read up and join us in the official thread - we have a good discussion group in there. :)

In no particular order...Smallville, Star Trek (any except Enterprise), X-Play, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, and Fairly Oddparents.

Yes, I watch cartoons, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Original or new series? Just curious.
American version with Steve Carell.
I've watched every episode at least 5 times, mostly more. I rented the british version, but I made the mistake of watching the first season, so it was the exact same episodes, and it was boring. I should rent a different season sometime.

1)Family Guy
2)Sportscenter
3)(Was Playmakers till it was cancelled after 1 season)Law and Order

1. Doctor Who (2005-2006)
2. Lost (although season 2 was pretty disappointing)
3. Smallville

With Smallville, I'm just watching season 1 on DVD for the first time, and I'm liking it a lot so far. The running story line is just great. But I can see Smallville more of a teenage soap opera (which it really is, disguised as a coming-of-age/superhero story), and that keeps me riveted.

I caught a new Smallville episode on TV (the most recent season, for which I do not know how many seasons it ran for) and all the characters look different. Clark Kent put on some weight and not really recognizable from season 1, and apparently Martha Kent is a senator and the dad is dead?!?

Smallville changed quite a bit at the end of season 3. I'm still watching it, but I thought the last couple of seasons were quite disappointing.

Only three...?!?

Well, I first might have to add a couple to my favourites from a year and a half ago:

More or less preferred order:
- Red Dwarf
- Black Adder
- Fawlty Towers
- That 70's show
- 3rd Rock from the Sun
- Futurama
- My Family
- The Simpsons
- Farscape
- Twin Peaks
- Absolute Fabulous
- Earth 2
- The Young Ones
- South Park
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I watch way too much TV... mmm... TV...
Missing here is (and the internal ranking might have shifted a bit):
- Dr. Who (the new series)
- Sopranos (which I didn't really get into before after I compiled the list above)
- Firefly
- Rome (series 2, and maybe 3, are coming! :))

Close to getting on the list: Lost, Green Wing, Family Guy, American Dad

Now, to pick three from this...

1) Red Dwarf
2) Black Adder
3) Derrick (Now, you didn't see that one coming, right? :D)

Im going crazy and listing 5 because they are all tied first and cant be separated.

Hustle, Hotel Babylon, Top Gear, Eastenders (BBC)
Scrubs (abc)

If I didn't have Battlestar Galactica on my initial list, I'm adding it now. Best show on TV.
Just started watching that, the second episode of the new series are on tomorrow... that might get on my list, but it's a bit early to say... :)
