Last car: Porsche Boxster S
Current car: BMW 525d Touring
Next car: probably another family wagon

Think I'm done with my sports car phase after the Porsche, Lotus, MX-5 and Jaguar (although at some point I might get one along side the sensible car)

Last car: Old high mileage Ford Mondeo
Current car: Old high mileage Ford Focus estate
Next car: Probably another cheap estate car

I'm not really that bothered about cars, I always spend more on my bicycles. 🙂

Last: 2009 Acura TL
Current: 2012 Acura TSX
Next: Probably another Acura. I love them and my current one is the 6th I've owned.

Past: Merecedes S124 E320, Mercedes S210 E240, Ford Focus C-Max

Present: Mercedes S211 E200 Kompressor

Future: Mercedes S212 E-Class

Past: '96, '99, '07 Corvettes (the last being a Z06).

Current: '10 Corvette ZR1

Future: Whatever version of the new Corvette that can outperform my current one.

(See a pattern?)

Past: 2009 VW Golf GTI
Present: 2012 Acura TSX (lot of TSXes here it seems)
Future: If I had to go out and buy a car today, I'd take a long look at the Hyundai Genesis Coupe.

Past : Toyota Corolla 2003
Current : Subaru Forester 2011
Future : Toyota Prius C 2013 or Toyota Yaris 2013

Past: 2007 Subaru Outback 2.5i and 1995 Ford Mustang GT
Present: 2011 Toyota Corolla LE
Future: 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i Premium (getting one this fall)

Past: 1998 Rav4
Present: 2011 Civic
Future: 2024 ??? (probably an electric car, if it ain't ridiculously overpriced)

(German model names, sorry!)

Last car: Suzuki Alto EF (III. Generation, built 1998)
Current Car: Suzuki Ignis FH (1rst Gen., built 2001)
Future Car: if I need a small car and legs fit, then Suzuki Alto or Toyota Aygo, if legs don't fit Mitsubishi Colt. If I need a big car Dacia Logan MCV.

You see I am more on the low cost end of the line 😀

If I have too much money and don't need a car for everyday use Suzuki Cappuccino or Mazda MX-5 (2008 version) or VW Beetle (version before the massive facelift, like you still see them in Mexico) or Citroen 2CV or Citroen DS Coupe (70ies version) or old Mini Cooper or Renault R4 (late 70ies).

Past (also first car):
1990 Toyota Celica GT-S
Owned from 5/2001-3/2012

Current:
2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport
Owned from 7/2011-Present
Debating on trading it in or just running this car into the ground.

Future:
Subaru Impreza WRX or a Subaru Forrester XT
I am sold on Subarus

Past: 1992 Ford Explorer

Present: 2003 BMW M3 convertible

Future: Tesla Model X SUV

Dodge Dynasty->Dodge Neon->Honda Del Sol->Hyundai Accent->Toyota Echo.

My high school cars, the Chryslers, were by far the most reliable. The Dynasty was a V6 with only 10k on it before the previous owner died, so it didn't have any of the troubles most Dynasties had, and the only thing that ever went wrong with the Neon was the transmission blew up. I neutral-bombed it. Simple fix though. I found a neon that was in a flood, towed it home, and converted my car to a stick shift.

My echo now is a great car, but it's SOOOOO boring. The accent was the worst I had ever owned, and the del sol was the most fun, but it looked all beaten up.

Future car (after miraculous windfall): Tesla model S
