I am going to change to the magenta. This tmobile rep is a pip (in a good way) just told the apple lady to hang upNew phones through iup are only bwibg activated with esim - I bet that’s why. Older plans aren’t available on esim and you need a magenta one. Which is total crap
Not working for you on magenta too?!We’re on Magenta, not working for us. Haha…wow. Good thing these phones aren’t really worth upgrading to. Guess we’ll stick with our 12PM.
Weird, I’m still on a One Plus plan and it all worked fine for me.We’re on Magenta, not working for us. Haha…wow. Good thing these phones aren’t really worth upgrading to. Guess we’ll stick with our 12PM.
What plan do you have?I’m getting this error as well. First time trying to upgrade using the plan. I started it with my current phone. What do we have to do?
Ok. I’ll try in the morningT-Mobile just told me apple said there’s a system down on their side and to try tomorrow
That should not be the case with the apple upgrade program. Initially it told me that I had to pay 69.x and I would be able to upgrade before this pre-approval stuff went live.I was told that because I upgraded the last phone in October to preorder that I had not made the required 12 payments yet. I was told the only way I could get the phone on day of was to buy out the 13 payments when I should’ve been allowed to just make the 12th payment.
Let’s hope! I’ve been on iup for about 3 years as wellI'm on FZLTUL2LP, "T-Mobile One All In Promo@Work", and got the same error. We've been on IUP for years without issues, hopefully this is a temporary bug that they'll fix well before Friday.

thank you- tmobile is now telling me that I cant change my plan. I give up...I likely just go to a storeT-Mobile just told me apple said there’s a system down on their side and to try tomorrow
why are they saying that you cannot change your plan?thank you- tmobile is now telling me that I cant change my plan. I give up...I likely just go to a store
I offered to do exactly that and the dude told me I had to buy out the phone completely. It’s funny cause one of the reasons I went to apples upgrade program was cause I got tired of dealing with T-Mobile’s BS when I wanted to upgrade my phone and now they give me this crap. This happened before when one of the phone was launched a month late, but IUP flow still worked, we just had to pay an extra payment or whatever.
They said my billing cycle starts on the 20th so that is holding up the system. The account is paid in full each month, so this makes no sensewhy are they saying that you cannot change your plan?
tmobile defaults to thinking that you want to use their phone upgrade program when you mention to them the word upgrade.. if you were to upgrade using a tmobile trade in then yeah, that would be the case, if you are going to continue to use the iup then you should be able to upgrade, its a feature built into the iup loan.I offered to do exactly that and the dude told me I had to buy out the phone completely.
