1.) High Fidelity
2.) Dark Knight
3.) Back to the Future Thrillogy
4.) Social Network
5.) Iron Man
6.) Various Harry Potter movies - they were just so much better than they needed to be and that impresses me each time I see one.

Lord of the Rings Fellowship of the Ring
Jurassic Park
Mulan

Honestly there are probably a hundred movies I would call my favorites, these are just three right off the top of my head.

3 new:

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
Hesher
The Thing (2011)

3 all time

007 Casino Royale
Knocked Up
Tenacious D - Pick of Destiny

----------

awesome. never gets old and the 3rd on is my favorite.

Never heard anyone say the 3rd is their favorite. Many have said it brings the series down. It's not my favorite, but I really enjoy it.

----------

High Fidelity

+1, it's such a great movie!

My three

Annie Hall
Some Like it Hot
Inception

The thing I like about these three is that on the face of it they are genre films (respectively a romance, a comedy and a sci-Fi flick). Actually i feel these cross genres, and bring something new to a set-up that could have resulted in a stale film.

well.....
My favorite movies are:
1. The Dark Knight
2. The Man In The Moon (Reese's first film)
3. It's A Wonderful Life

Mine are:
1.The Lion King
2. Romeo and Juliet
3. The Little Mermaid
4. Bugsey Malone
5. Mamma Mia

Don't really have favorites, but if I had to pick 3:

True lies, don't know why, but I find it funny and can watch it everytime it's on tv.

Avatar and Inception, but watching it on bluray on my tiny 55" just isn't the same as in theatre.
