MacGyver re-runs, The Wonder Years... ahhh memories.

As far as toys go, who could forget Game Boy, Sega Game Gear, Atari Lynx, Sega genesis, Super Nintendo?

Good times right there....lets not forget Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles cartoon and toys.

I loved candy when I was a kid such as Alexander the grape, Lemonhead, Sourboy...yummy!

Bless

You couldn't watch I am Legend without playing either the Fresh Prince or Men in Black theme tune in your head.

The name Choco Krispies makes you cringe.

You remember hurting your ears by stuffing your fingers down them to keep out the sounds of (annoying kids singing) Spice Girls songs.

You were sad about Napster closing.

You were addicted to Yahoo! Pool, arranging games with friends over MSN

You regretted your N64 purchase slightly because the pokémon version was just so cool

You played multiplayer GameBoy over a cable which couldn't be moved too much otherwise the connection would break.

A lot of the stuff posted here were late 80's, not 90's. Though, some may have continued into the 90's.

Tenchnically, you are a kid until you turn 18. I turned 18 in 1996. So, I was a kid for 6 years in the 90's. Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Super NIntendo, Mortal Kombat, 1994 Winter Olympics (Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan), Jurassic Park, Seinfeld, Twin Peaks, Metallica's Black Album (which began their downward spiral), The first Iraq war, Patriot missles, Compuserve, Macintosh IIsi, Full House going off the air, Darkwing Duck......

Nickelodeon in general (the good stuff), Beige Computers (haha), Cartridge game systems, PokéMon cards AND GameBoy Game, Smurfs, ridiculous toys like Moon Shoes and bop-it, Having your favorite cartoons on VHS tape, Taping things with your VCR so you wouldn't miss them, Not knowing OJ Simpson for anything good, BILL CLINTON, cheesy group pop bands like Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys, hair styles like the "duck-cut", probably the last generation to actually choose going outside over electronics because they kinda still sucked (B&W Gameboys, Dial-up internet, terrible load times on PS1, PC gaming was limited to a few classic games like Doom and Wolfenstein), SURGE the soda, the old department stores like Ames, Bradlees and Caldors, Capri Sun juice and GIGA PETS!!!

Yep. It was the good life.

giga pets? puh-leaze, tamagotchi! or digimon!

...you have a sense of entitlement.

Get off of my lawn you damn kids. :p

i remember watching:

Duck Tales
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers
Talespin
Thunder Cats
He-Man

that's all i can remember off the top of my head

in the 90's, it was worth it to get up early on saturday morning. last great era of saturday morning cartoons. they for the most part all suck now, and if it weren't for a couple of shows on wb, i would sleep in on saturday mornings now (i think this is in part of me being grown up now, but the cartoon quality has really gone down as of late).

He-Man and Thundercats were 80's.

I was born in 89, and I feel like I was a 90s kid. I have hundreds of POGS still, and I had several giga pets. They don't show any good cartoons anymore like Road Runner or Yosemite Sam, really sucks.

Word, dude.

If only... It sucks living in a war decade. :(

This whole decade has been a big disappointment (even aside from all the other problems).

Boring, bland, and unimaginative is the way I would describe it.
