iPhone 8/Plus YouTube app stuttering on iPhone 8+

Just purchased my iPhone 8+ yesterday and now the YouTube app is stuttering while scrolling. Is this just me or do others have the same issue?
 
Do you flick scroll? If so you’re gonna have stutter. It’s the app. Try scrolling smoothly.

YouTube is over the internet. A slow internet connection will make the video be sluggish. Try going down in quality.
